Rembrandt Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Maybe. Show me where he has done well and I will consider it. We have been pretty shit when I have seen us. People act like we will be worse off without him. He has brought in poor players, players he doesn't play. I am not saying he has had it easy but isn't his key attribute getting the most out of poor sides? Well, that's the sort of manager we need. NL doesn't seem to be it, nice chap though he is. Quote
Ani Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 sad, isnt it The only light on the horizon is that Yoof has passed his driving test, just need a small lottery win to pay for his insurance and he can drive to games so I can at least have a drink. Quote
tarian1979 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Regardless of being shafted over money the players hes got in front of him, should be able to finish above the wank that rotherham mk dons and preston have Quote

I think its as simple as we just dont have very good players. Quote

jagermoot Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Could be a blessing in disguise. Imagine all the shit players we couldn't shift getting binned off and some kids with everything to prove beong thrown in at the deepend. Quote
Farrelli Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Could be some heavy beatings coming our way as well. Depressing times. roll on next season and start again. Quote
MalcolmW Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Could be a blessing in disguise. Imagine all the shit players we couldn't shift getting binned off and some kids with everything to prove beong thrown in at the deepend. You could be right. Conventional wisdom is not to blood youngsters under relegation pressure as they may wilt under pressure and lose their appetite for the game, spoiling their career development. But if some players walk away it may be the only option available. Lennon chose not to renew his Cetic contract (so did not get a pay-off) - they wanted to keep him, he wanted to get a Premier League appointment. No club regarded him as suitable, so eventually he lowered his ambitions and took on BWFC. Clearly this has unravelled in ways he could not have imagined. His image as a manager (rightly or wrongly) has been severely tarnished, and that won't improve if he chooses to walk. His best (only?) option is to soldier on Five successive home wins (Fulham, Blackburn, Huddersfield, MK Dons and Rotherham), with away wins/draws at (Charlton), Rotherham, Wednesday, Forest and Wolves would transform the position. OK, there as been no sign of it yet, it's the hope that kills. Quote

Plums Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 The talk has become incredibly stale, and I for one am fed up with clicking on every available news source. We're now discussing the manager which shows everyone feels similar. I still feel we'll avoid admin, whether or not this will be ultimately beneficial is a different matter. I also can't see many players walking, they'd be on better money here potentially. I won't name names, but some of them aren't going to be top of the shopping list for most championship clubs. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Just seen the rumour Leeds, QPR and Fulham want Dervite. I know its nearly Christmas but surely this is too good to be true? Quote
