One must ask why is it always us that’s involved?

Who made us world police?

World police with a magic money tree.

Didn’t the Israeli borders get decided by the UK to start with...?

Start with? I think you need to go back a couple of thousand years when the borders were stated as from the Nile to the Euphrates.

We had a lot of influence but, not long after the end of WW2, the GA of the United nations made the final decisions after Israel declared itself an independent state. Still, we British white middle aged men must be the one's to blame. Every other fucking thing is our fault according to some.

If anyone is stupid enough to lob owt at Israel, they will pay a heavy price, that's for certain.

We played a big part for sure but the agreed boarders then and what they are now are not the same.

Isn't that because the countries around Israel kept starting and losing wars with them?

In part, yes. It isn't black and white I just don't think some of the actions by the state of Israel has helped over the years. To be fair, everything seems to be a lose/lose situation when it comes to the middle east.

NATO decided the borders. We weren't that keen on sending the Jewish to what was then British Palestine

Either way

Iran drops anything on Israel and their reply could be more than a few ordinary bombs

And Iran knows that so this, like the Cold War, will be acted out by proxys.

The best option would be to watch and listen to these two fine chaps with a very familiar tune.

1 minute in sees the best ever “dancing” of its kind.

Enjoy

There's only one colour with him mate. The same colour as that flag he regularly croons about.

Bread queues and Trabants are his idea of heaven.

listening to something yesterday and view was that may has missed a trick

going to a vote would've showed a nice split in labour ranks

We drew up an area in British Palestine via the Balfour agreement for a Jewish homeland. After much to-ing and fro-ing there was a general consensus amongst world jewry that this was where they had the greatest biblical connection.

British soldiers were then murdered because it wasn't happening quickly enough. The Israelis nicked the Golan heights later and probably would have taken Damascus too if they hadn't packed up and gone 'home'.

A Palestinian homeland is as far away now as it ever was

Yes, a fair point. Listened to Dominic Greive (sp) this morning though and you can see why it was done when it was.

As for Corbyn. Plumbs the depths more and more. Obnoxious, self publicising, repugnant, odious fucktard twattybollocks cuntshoveller of a man.

Love him. NOT.

Just been watching some of the details debate following the PMs statement on the airstrikes.

Corbyn once again getting a pummelling by members on all sides.

A couple of slime balls from the SNP following his rhetoric and completely ignoring facts and humanity in order to pursue political ends.

Cunts.

I used to nod off in physical chemistry lectures, particularly shit like thermodynamics. All stuff that went over my head.

Probably something similar in her case.

I can’t stand Corbyn, hate the bloke, but I think he had a couple of good points yesterday. I agree with him Saying we followed Trump also what he said about Yemen, whys that never been mentioned/attacked?

He’s still a cunt though

I’ve no idea what’s going on in Yemen, but there’s always an excuse, a rationale for not backing anything that involves his own country.

Have chemical weapons been used in Yemen? If not, then he’s comparing apples and oranges.

Chandler flew to Yemen to get away from Janice.

Corbyn's point that we seem alright with 400k Syrians diying as long as it's done with good old fashioned bombs and bullets was also a good one.

It's a very good point.

The differences politically are huge though, sadly.  What odd creatures we are

Was Corbyn wrong? Forget whether you like him or not. Or agree with everything else he says or not...I think most people if they're honest agree with him on this.

We're doing exactly the same as Blair did in Iraq. Following the USA, ignoring the UN, disregarding any legal warnings we choose to, and simply hoping what we do makes things better.

We're happy to see Assad kill loads of innocent women and children on an ongoing basis....and are sitting back and doing nothing. Either in for a penny or in for a pound.
