The body language was terrible, well done Donald hope you gave her both barrels.

I suspect it was the other way round.

Surely she told him what it was like to live behind a wall for over 30 years, and be unable to visit her grandmother in Hamburg from the age of 7 until she was middle-aged.

She may have pointed out that that the USA was built on welcoming immigrants, and that Germany is aware it needs plenty.

But she was probably discreet enough not to mention how Texas, California and the states between those two came to switch from Mexico to USA.

The wall between East and West Germany has no bearing on the proposed wall between Mexico and US not sure what point your trying to make there. Not sure Germany needs more immigrants they've plenty out of work, is the US banning immigration full stop not heard that either and finally I bet the folk of Texas and California thank their lucky stars thier now part of the US and not Mexico. Think Trump has the upper hand given the record of Merckel, that might change when Trump has been in power long enough to make a proper judgement on his leadership.

Germany is going to have a very old population in years to come if they don't mate.

If I'd lived behind a wall for x amount of years and had Donald waffling on at me about one I'd probably nod off. Of course they have similarities.

Here's what he thinks about brexit as well

I think most people can have a proper judgement on his leadership already.

Interesting read on the aging workforce. i know when i lived there it was something being talked about a lot as they began to strike due to pension changes.

No doubt he is a funny character and he is far from P.C. and you could say he is a bit of a cunt bit FWIW I think the U.S. needs that at the moment its a bit like our current situation with K.A. he is also bit of a cunt but he is our cunt and while he is doing a job for B.W.F.C. He has my backing. Keep up the good work Ken & Donald.

Thing is ka seems to have stabilised us. DT seems to be destabilising the usa.

I've fully backed his right to govern, but in all honesty he's appearing to be as big a cunt after the election as during it, which I didn't think would happen. Seems to be alienating himself slowly.

So you back the twat sittng by and allowing folk to peddle falsehoods about GCHQ just to save face after yet another twitter clusterfuck? Was that a good bit of work by Trump?

To be honest I am not too fussed about the peripheral shit storm and his press paranoia (Some of it might be true and some not) I am only interested in policy and what these policies/actions do for the US however the press, liberals only care about his twatter comments just think he might be taking the piss out of his opponents and the press while strumming his own trumpet. :)

Has anyone told the 24 million that the sky won't fall in yet?

Everything is the right in the world when you compare bad news with the apocalypse

Unfortunately this is the real world if the state cannot afford to pay you have 2 options 1 you take out insurance or you only receive a basic level of healthcare provided by the state, its a matter of time before that is the case here in the UK, it is time our government started the discussion about this issue, all employees should pay a % of their wages for health care the same as pensions with employers and government also having to chip in.

All employees already do pay a percentage of their wage for healthcare don't they? And a two tier healthcare system really isn't one I want to aspire to. Particularly in a country with such rampant inequality as the UK.

Isnt that what national insurance is for? The government just tried to nudge it up ever so slightly so everyone pays the same and folk went bat shit crazy

I'd very much concur.

If they have there way they'll make all state schools academies as well and basically allow Purple Aki or that fella who wins the quiz every week to teach your kids (on less £ too, obvs)

Unless of course you can afford better . . . and the cycle repeats

It's obviously not enough and no one wants 2 tier healthcare but if the state can't afford to pay then I can't see any alternative.

TP - what the fook happened there?!
