Eddie Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 This whole thing is fucking heartbreaking. The jejune bravado and obduracy shown by Davies and his team of corrupt cunts needs to be exposed to the entire footballing world. Fuck it if I get grief, fuck it if i get abused by fellow Wanderers fans and fuck it if I get legal action, but it's being said right here and right now. It's high time fingers were pointed at and stones thrown at many people, starting with 8 Winmarleigh St, Warrington. Simple, basic research shows the proximate cause. As has been said many times, we are dealing with very clever shrewd and intelligent busineesmen but there is always a paper trail. These people are not immune and always leaves tracks. You might want to start with Deloitte. If Deloitte (one of the big 4, not some small local firm) spotted anything in the last 10 years accounts it would have been dealt with and we would know. It's not worth the damage to their reputation to even consider turning a blind eye. If they've got something past Deloitte then they are far less idiotic than most people have them down as. We're in the shit due to massive miss management, poor decision making and a bit of bad luck thrown in for good measure, not due to corruption. Quote

I think that eyes were raised at the valuation of players and contracts the year before the year before FFP. Not corrupt, but certainly interesting. Quote
e2e4 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I heard he wasn't well Don't think Mark Lies wouldve been very good as a Spy in the NUM or Soviet Russia or owt. He's like them Japanese in the jungle that think World War II is still going 50-odd years after it finished. Quote

Traf Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 For the record, I wasn't implying that either or both of ED or PG had been salting funds away from the club and using that Warrington address as a conduit for their actions. There seems a lot if interest in Mr Gartside's business dealings and my point was that if you wanted to know more then that location ie Vosiers Solicitors etc wold be a good stating point. The only "crime" committed by the pair is reckless mismanagement of the club. Quote

Kick backs a go go. It's also very difficult to get away with kick backs this day in age The bribery act makes it difficult for you to kick back serious ammounts of swag legally The likes of ASDA aren't even allowed to accept one cup of Coffee from suppliers as a company policy If as some folk have suggested hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of vehicles have been accepted as kick backs then there will be an audit trail and I'd be suprised if folk haven't been arrested Quote

Cheese Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 This board have constantly lied on various things. They are dishonest. You can only assume the accounts are no different. To think they can't have been manipulated is naive in the extreme. If they had concentrated on running the football club rather than tax evasion we may not be in this diabolical position. Their priority has always been cash not football. They have lacked in communication with us MASSIVELY, but lied? What lies are you talking about? Quote
jagermoot Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 SSN saying we need 14 million by monday or its administration. Where did they get that from? Jeff Steling said it, so it has to be true. Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Some say we are trying to raise money so we can go into administration Not sure how that works If it's true (I'm sceptical) then what's going to happen should we not be able to raise any funds for administration? Liquidation? Surely not whilst they're are still plenty of assets to go at Quote

He said £14m for their short term future. £14-15m has been widely reported as the amount needed to see the season out. Quote

Wouldn't the main creditor be Eddie anyway so he's most likely to appoint the administrator? Dunno, just asking. Quote
HomerJay Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) somebody has to pay the administrator. ED wants the club to appoint its own i assume. but anybody can appoint i believe, what i still dont get is the this whole HMRC thing, as ED's debt make HMRC insignificant (unless that debt is bigger than we are led to believe) HMRC would have to see a lot of money generated for them to get anything. ie the stadium? birch-chorley Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Jobs for the fucking boys what with birch, the fella from Bury and a potential administrator We might sell something soon Quote
HomerJay Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 you want one of the boys to be the administrator. an aggressive administrator from a creditor could really fuck us over Quote

The worrying thing is that there are possibly a dozen or more clubs teetering. If they realise they will get next to nothing out of BWFC they may play hardball to bring the others into line. Hopefully not so! Quote
MalcolmW Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 How much is an administrator? Surely it would be bye bye birch / hello administrator Birch can and does act as administrator. He did at Portsmouth, and Hearts. I think I know who ED would appoint! Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Ah ok I didn't realise you could appoint your own, I thought they were fully independent So in reality - nothing will change off the field, we will just be -12 Ltd and relegated on it Quote
