Guest Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Not really bothered what Anderson says. Main worry for me is that Deano seems to think that having played for Bolton Wanderers is the only qualification needed to be manager. If it is true that he wants, Nolan and Reid or Phillips then that is a little worrying. Quote

frank_spencer Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Being honest i'll support whoever they appoint as manager. As has been mentioned before any appointment is a gamble. If it's phillips or Rosler or whover they'll get my backing as we've no idea how it'll turn out either way. Mourinho and VanGaal are 2 world class managers who've struggled this season, whereas comedy lovable uncle Ranieri has won the premier league Neil 'Colin' Warnock or Ian 'i'm dead bonkers me' Holloway would test my commitment to supporting them though. Cheese Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Gerry Taggart? Surely not? (Seeing as we're just posting the names of ex-players and pretending they're linked to the managerial position.) Quote

MalcolmW Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 The shortlist put before the Leicester owner was, allegedly, O'Neill, Lennon and Ranieri. If Lennon had been chosen he might have got them in the top 8, and been lauded. And we might have had a season with someone else (Pearson, perhaps?). Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 It's Pele, he realises what a big mistake it was turning us down last time, saw him last night in Bolton supper bar. Quote
