Thanks for banging on about it. We're all eternally grateful for your insight

  • I like how they have voted Chris Powell as their first choice.   Not many clubs can say they have had two black managers in a row.

Micky Mellon, he was at Jamie Vardy's party.

A Mellon party?

Adkins has been a failure ever since his Soton days. Not keen on Powell either, though both have been promoted from this division. Cotterill is the standout from those three IMO.

A failure?

36.3% win rate at Reading, which included Prem games.

40.7% win rate at Sheff Utd. Only a year in the job.

I'd give my left testicle for those stats any time in the last few years let alone next season!!

Powell wank any of the other two fine

Looking at Adkins cv, Maybe the thinking behind him is that he could also double up as physio and goalkeeping coach to save on wages?

Heard he can speak fluent Nigerian and pour lager all over the floor instead of in a plastic pot too.

Just come across this.

Still makes me laugh.

bloody hell! is there anything you wont masturbate to gonzo?

Powell wasn't wank at Huddersfield, he was steady

And that's the pond we are fishing in now

Adkins is one of those smiley happy flappy blokes like Coyle that gets found out...I know one of his staff at Reading and he reckons the players took the piss out of him as he was "nice but dim" and very naive. If true, that's definitely not what we need to get the most out of these cunts.

We aren't shopping in Harvey Nics and I'm sure there's no obvious stand out option, or we'd have one by now, but I think we need someone who can make the team maximise every inch of the limited ability they will have...

Still Cotterill or Powell for me, but I'll back whoever it is.

i see powell as a chip on both shoulders type of guy so dont like him

as for steady, he was a tad over a point per game at huddersfield, a fraction better than lennon and quite a bit worse than freedman

anyway, i agree on the final point

whoever we get needs our support

as do the owners

imo, sniping and poking and prodding needs to fook right off and we all pull together

would be great if it was redfearn, though :)

PPG not relevant really; Powell gave Huddersfield their highest finish for 14 years; it's all about relativity. They were really happy with non relegation.

He was sacked because they were seen as a bit drab and without killer instinct to win games.

Freedman's expectations (despite what you made up at the time to protect him) was to get us back up.

Apples and orangles :)

Anyway, I'm not convinced he's an outstanding candidate, but let's be fair

Adkins had a kindergarten full of talent at Soton hence the success and momentum, also did well at Reading for a short time.

Cotterill as that nutter element about, like Lennon

Powell is a nice guy, like Ranieri (can't spell Ranieri, the Leicester Manager)

For these reasons only, (and the fact I remember Shaft). I vote Powell

He has everyone on ignore.

Is Coyle available??

Is Coyle available??

Blackpool will be wishing.

I dont fancy Adkins or Powell, I don't know a lot about Cotterill but he blitzed League 1 with Bristol City so unless someone else becomes available (Phil Parkinson) I would go with Cotterill of the 3 mentioned.

Is Glenn Hoddle still busy kicking cripples down stairs? Or is he ready to manage again?

All 3 have blitzed league one at one point....

Nobody is on the Coyle in Blackpool.

Not Josie then.

From a Huddersfield season ticket holder, so must be true

Powell is a decent guy but if what the chairman said was true, spent too much time in London and left the players to get on with it and of course they didn’t.

steady hmm poor stats mate, yes at charlton it reads ok tbf. I know what market we're looking at however me personally would prefer someone who' has a bit more on the Cv especially in the lower leagues
