RoadRunnerFan Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 In fairness the main beef on Megson's appointent was that we could have got a better manager as our stock as a club was still high. That's not the case now and McDermott, if he comes, is coming from a higher level. He doesn't come across as particularly inspiring, but he doesn't come across as a cnut either. I'd be fairly happy if he were to get it. Quote
radcliffe white Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 A cunt to tear the club apart, piss off the players, further alienate the fans and leave us in a relegation spot? Nah you're alright boring Quote
Nowack Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 What is the longest time a club has been without a manager? Maybe Holdsworth wants us to get in the record books early. Quote
deane koontz Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) What is the longest time a club has been without a manager? Maybe Holdsworth wants us to get in the record books early. We've not had one since 2007 Edited June 1, 2016 by deane koontz Quote
Traf Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Always found mcdermott an uninspiring bloke, looks like an extra from wind in the willows He looks a lot like Penfold/Jules Darby Quote
Blondi Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 McDermott strikes me as a bit of a yes man and for that reason I can see KA choosing him. Quote

DomRepWanderer Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Mcdemott has a 41.5% win ratio, not too shoddy. Quote

Zico Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Mcdemott has a 41.5% win ratio, not too shoddy. though been on the wane since Woking that'd be like Blackburn fans looking at Coyle and thinking he's a good choice because he did alright at Burnley i know this is the market we now operate in, but I just don't fancy him at all Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Heard on radio steve evens win ratio at Leeds was 48% Quote
MalcolmW Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Heard on radio steve evens win ratio at Leeds was 48% You're confusing Leeds with Crawley. 36.8% at Leeds. Quote
captainmed Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 The market is looking like BM. All the character of a paper bag, same tone voice and looks like Wallace. A leader of men, not a chance.... Quote

Blondi Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 At least we can cross Gary Bowyer off our list. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11728/10301579/gary-bowyer-appointed-blackpool-manager-on-one-year-deal Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I thought Bowyer was doing a decent job at Rovers before he got sacked. Can't imagine why he's gone to Blackpool. Quote
