In fairness the main beef on Megson's appointent was that we could have got a better manager as our stock as a club was still high.

 

That's not the case now and McDermott, if he comes, is coming from a higher level.

 

He doesn't come across as particularly inspiring, but he doesn't come across as a cnut either.

 

I'd be fairly happy if he were to get it.
