clown Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 We stayed in Antibes, 10 miles near Cannes, beautiful  Can't say much about Nuce centre as I was only their a few hours  The ground is fucking miles out of town though, get the horrendous bus (45 mins jam packed) it's the only way, we got the train to the airport and walked it for 45 minutes from their on the way in (red hot). Left early to head towards the taxi rank but no taxis so walked back towards the airport then paid rediculous money flagging a taxi to save half the walk. It really is in the middle of know here mate  If your in Nice a few days defo head to Antibes / Juan le Pins / Cannes for a day or 2 superb! Cheers mate

MalcolmW Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Hungary are already qualified as they have 4 pts, just a matter of in which position. For both Portugal and Iceland a draw will be sufficient to qualify as they will have 3 pts and a GD of 0, which is better than Turkey and Albania. Austria need a win to qualify. Italy are already qualified in first place, as if they tie on 6pts with Belgium Head-ti-head places them first. Interesting to see what sort of team they turn out. Ireland and Sweden both need wins to qualify on 4 pts. A draw will not be sufficient as 2 pts cannot qualify. Belgium will qualify unless they lose by any margin AND italy lose, or if they lose by more than 3 goals. The only team to have had no chance before their final match was Ukraine, and they were playing neighbours Poland.

Interesting to see what sort of team they turn out.I'll be surprised if they don't leave out Chiellini, Bonucci and Buffon, who are all on yellows - I'm pretty sure Buffon carried the can for Chiellini's attempt to time-waste his way to a suspension at the end of the Sweden game. Â De Rossi and Motta are both on yellows, too, but it's difficult to see neither starting.
L/H White Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Italy Ireland, nailed on draw  italy will have a weakend defence, but it will still hold strong against a limited Ireland attack
Zico Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 getting Hungary in the work sweepstake doesn't seem so bad right now  be good to see them and Iceland progress, fair play  plenty time left like
Guest Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Portugal going out as it stands   Iceland would be nice
Carlos Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 They owe us one for Gordon Brown using terror legislation on them.
frank_spencer Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Portugal being so shit when Ronaldo has a bad spell shows what happens when a side is so reliant on one player. Coz the rest of the Portuguese side are shit.
L/H White Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) Good goal of Portugal's tbf  Austria missed a penalty v Iceland  As it stands, we still play Iceland Edited June 22, 2016 by L/H White

enzo gambaro Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I'm beginning to question my decision to watch Iceland v Austria.
Carlos Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I'm off to Lisbon in a couple of weeks, should be fun.
