  • Ah, those lads who wanted their country back , upset by foreigners who came over on boats pinching  all the houses and land and changing the native culture and not assimilating into it.  thought you

  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

How good was Blue Planet 2?!

Absolute class

Snuff Box

Apparently too dark for TV but if you like Matt Berry or anything akin to League of Gentleman ... it is worth a watch.

Gunpowder

3 parter bout guy fawkes on iplayer

First episode was very good, brutal torture scenes

Aye, watched the first two parts. Burning folk alive in the second one. Confronting viewing.

I'm quite enjoying series 1 of Borgia, I know it's been about for a number of years but I've never watched it, also been through The Tudors and Reign which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially the Tudors

I'm going to watch Mr Men later to redress the balance

WAlking Dead and Stranger Things 2.

WD has started quite action packed, let's hope that continues.

ST2 is OK and I love the 80s vibe, intro especially.  Reminds me of Super 8.

Finished Narcos series 3. Very enjoyable.

Can't believe some folk bagged it off after just a couple of episodes of series 1.

Up to Episode 7 now myself, been compelling viewing. What an absolute tragedy this misadventure snowballed into, can't say many (any?) of the American politicians have come out of this with much credit so far.

Some of the lessons not learned for the future are glaring too. Hopefully a decade or so down the line we'll get a similarly high quality look back at "The War On Terror"

Finished the series this morning. And people wonder why "asians", both near and far East hate the US

A rerun started on BBC4 on Saturday at 11.35pm, presumably over 10 weeks.

This was excellent and Mark Gatiss was very good. Ripping hearts out of Catholics whilst they were still conscious, the good old days as Bolty calls them!

The good old days I refer to are the 1960's. Generally agreed with apart from by the odd plantpot or two on here.

With this in mind, I have concluded that you are an idiot,

Folk on the radio the other day saying it was too grisly. Not seen it yet; what do folk think- over the top or reasonable?

Not ott, just gory

Masterchef the Professionals is back

Great telly and the only "reality" show for me

In the context of British history, compelling viewing.

The gory stuff I could do without.

Cheers. One of the makers was saying he didn't think it was too bad as it had to reflect reality.

He also said people didn't have to watch it.

Take his point, but perhaps there are ways of portraying history without so much gore.

Maybe I'll give it a try

RIP Elvis!

Why is my cunting telly full of bastard Christmas adverts? It's still the first twatting week of Nofuckingvember?

Just sat here waiting for Fonejacker to come on as you do and I do believe I’m watching Snoop Dog co-presenting a Sunday Brunch style show wtf

'Cause they've peddled all their Halloween tat (bommy neet isn't pushed because they can't sell tuppence worth of plastic for eight quid for that)...

6pm Christmas Eve all the holiday companies start meithering families for next summer. It's relentless.

Fuck off.

Gone to Pot last night. Hilarious!!!

Pat Butcher getting stoned!!

Christopher Biggins and Bobby George eating too much marijuana ice cream and pulling massive whiteys was a highlight
