Stuck into this 10 part Vietnam War documentary on BBC4. Thought it was a re-run of a really old one but Wikipedia tells me its brand new.

 

Very interesting, and a fine soundtrack as most Vietnam War stuff has.

Been watching the same during the night shift after baby #2 arrived last week.

 

It's good viewing. Looks like a right royal fuck up from the yanks.

Yeah I've watched 1-6. Must admit it's like history repeating with gulf wars/taliban and isis all having similar themes.

 

Worst part about this is it's on record they knew the war was unwinnable years beforehand and cracked on anyway to save face.
