  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Sad but true

I’ve aged v badly

Got 10 minutes into the new Gervais thing and turned it off. Hard to imagine nowadays he's the same guy as created the Office. Piss poor

Like The Good Place on Netflix, we have the UK PR team from Netflix on our next bank of desks but one of them is from Reading and is a Bolton fan, so not all bad.

He hasn't by any chance ever got a National Express on Christmas Day to Middlesbrough, has he?

When you see Gervais being painfully unfunny in something it reminds you how brilliant the bumpkin that is Stephen Merchant actually is.

Although thanks to his role in Logan I now read Caliban with a wurzels accent.

I thought he was pretty funny!?

All the Twitter gags at the end got a bit dull and self-serving but he made some relevant observations.   Quite brave for this day and age

Not seen it but I thought Exrras was really good and Derik horrific so he’s very hit and miss for me

The Office and Extras are brilliant. Agreed too on Derek. It's that bad it should be called Derik.

Saw a bit of extras and thought it was OK but saw one clip of Derek and didn't bother.

His best stuff was the raw stand up on that show that started Ali G off.  Remember him telling a gag about his mate who pulled the wings of blue bottles and let em run round his bell end when in the bath . . . Humanity reminds me more of that.

edit - 11 O'clock show!  that was doin my head in

Ian Lee and some fit bird iirc. 'Twas a good show, that.

Ha ha.    I thought Extras was very good & underrated but the Office a bit overrated.

The Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen appearances in extras are very funny
