We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

good lad. Good player. Terrible knees, on decent money at Fulham and they also want the fee agreed in Jan. said he thinks he can get better…

also said Dapo is going nowhere

Parrot= tweet.

Shit pun, but a pun nonetheless. Nothing else.

Them bog wank pitches at Fleetwood and Morecambe in the middle of January arent usually kind to your chips and peas.

Apparently Vela is going to Fleetwood from Shrewsbury

before signing parrot I'd want to know what he wants to gain and his knowledge of the club.   First thing I'd ask is "Who won the FA Cup in 1958" whilst I sup a pint of Guinness.

Maybe Scott Brown knows him from his time in Scotland (although he was terrible at Hibs apparently).

Its going to take some turnaround at Fleetwood to make them competitive, they couldn't buy a win 2nd half of season.

Think Brown is a good appointment but isn’t the owner in the shit? as we all know behind the scenes stability is vital.

Yeah, chairman/owner Andy Pilley on fraud & money laundering charges; mis-selling energy supply contracts through his firm Business Energy Solutions and posting fake customer reviews.  8 year investigation by Trading Standards; trial not due to start before October.

If it’s a shambles behind the scenes think he might just walk out.

He counter suing HMRC for the way they have conducted the investigation as well.

My mate is going to be giving evidence as he works there, he reckons he will be ok but we will see.

The trouble, and what may well save him, is that a lot of his money is tied up local interests. His investment has totally changed the face of kids footy round here and their training ground is a focal point of it all. If he goes, all that goes.

All this stuff works in mysterious ways.

His most recent ex mrs is currently spending her way round the fylde coast. £500k on a house in Bispham being the most recent.

.....one way to get rid your cash :)

Starting to look that way,

Didn't think he could sign until 10th June anyway?

"No Fossey, no Fussey" as someone with less class than me might say.

Mad how the HMRC go all in on this kind of shit and then not on massive tax folk like amazon etc. always in for an IOM tax scheme. cunts

Terrible is a bit too complimentary. That said, Brown’s assistant manager is Steven Whittaker who played with Vela at Hibs so must have seen something in training that nobody ever saw in a game.*

*I actually thought Vela was a really bright prospect for us for a spell when he first came through. When we beat Sunderland away in the FA Cup he was head and shoulders the best player on the park, but I don’t think his injury did him any good and then he let the good press go to his head under Lennon

Because they've got the cash to take on local man done good (if a bit dodgy) and his legal team.

They'd get fucking annihilated if they tried to do over Bezos

Vela went downhill quickly when he became Wheater's bum boy.

Very interesting point.

Megson, Coyle, Freedman, Lennon, Gartside, Eddie Davies, all blamed for our decline to greater or lesser extents.

Wheater played in three divisions for us, many games as captain, starting at the top. Top boozer, top lad?

It was said during our early decline, Wheater used to regularly throw his wage slip on the floor of the dressing room and pretended to strain his back picking it up as it was so heavy in front of the other players.

Didn't put him top of any list of players deserving sympathy when he didn't receive wages at Bolton and then Oldham despite his whining on twitter.

So Evatt, on a flight with his family for a holiday, spent 4 hours discussing confidential details & his opinions of players and their potential moves with you ?

Blimey. I am impressed.

It would have taken him 3.4 seconds to say doesnt look like fossey is coming because he's high risk and dapo is deffo staying.

No, seriously, fair play.

A guy last Saturday said something very similar to me as he passed me on his bike in Richmond Park.

Truly impressive.
