Kane off for a medical at Bayern. Seems he’s decided to take the trophies over the records, which is a no brainier IMO. If Haaland stays in the Prem a few years, Kane’s record would be short lived.

Haaland won't be here that long, pretty sure he's wanting to play for Madrid at some point. 

As much as Bayern are a top side, I'm not seeing Kane's move as particularly special.

I feel like I'm reading a propaganda thread to get Bristol to up a bid here or something, I'm shocked there's interest at all let alone from a Championship club.

The only thing that would ward me from accepting an offer of a couple of hundred grand is the fact it's so close to the end of the window and we'd need a body as replacement. 

But if we could get them to somehow send some of that silly money they've just got our way and get close to 7 figures then I'd drive him down there myself, could comfortably spend a quarter of that fee and find an improvement. 

He's a player with a lot of heart but for me lacks the necessary quality to play regularly for us even at this level, and I don't see how he can improve to the point of being a regular for us and certainly not to a Championship level.

Sure it's geared to the manager's chosen playing style and ambitions so it necessarily has some bias to that, but I'd have thought that as a general rule if Thomason wasn't up to the mark or a player with better performance data could be found, Thomason would be sold like a shot. He hasn't - yet.

Draw your own conclusions, but IMO that's the cold reality of the club's ambition ATM and sentimentality isn't a part of it.

I don't mind Thomason and would be sorry to see him go. I think he offers something different from midfield when we need to move the ball more quickly (and forwards). 

Seems to have a great attitude and improving year on year. 

Not the finished article by any means but who is. I's be less concerned if Sheehan left tbh.
