We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Played 8 games supposedly, debut v Burnley 1st game of season, injury happened v Yeovil.

There’s no way any other club has had as many serious/long term injuries as us surely? I find it unbelievable how often it happens to our players, started with Peter Reid, then Jeff Chandler, Andy Walker....etc

You are so right, Reid blamed bolton grass, so did walker.

I too find it unbelievable (jeff) that people who play sports get injured.

Who knew?

“Gut almost the entire team” 😬😬

There’s a big difference between that comment & needing some strong midfielders and a fast creative player.

To be fair rather than doing that we just increased the size of the squad, with some regulars last year becoming squad players this year.

The grass? Fuck all to do with Everton and Swansea players then?

No one was near walker when his knee went. Dunno about Reid.

Des Lyttle got the blame but Walker just turned badly

Peter Reid crashed into the Everton goalie in the snow.

Got some new goalposts off city

Classed as a transfer I guess

Never should have gone on that game and Neville Southall knew exactly what he was doing when he slid into Reidy make no mistake.

Was it not George Wood?

Semantics

George Wood knew exactly what he was doing, make no mistake.

Yeh, got dog's abuse whenever he played us after that

I've read him admitting as much.

F'call to do with grass. None could be seen under that snow.

Reid's next one was purely down to a Pedro Richards (Notts Co.) clogging tackle.

Was Henderson.

Or Hutchinson.

I shouldn't have gone either but it was George Wood. I was running late due to the snow so missed our goal and just got into the Lever End to watch their jammy equaliser as the ball got stuck in the snow. Then Reidy got carted off and from memory the match was abandoned at half time so nobody got their money back - all in all my contender for the shittest match. I say match - I only saw 20 odd minutes of it and that was effing dire.
