August 17, 20179 yr I was listening to some of the nobbers on Talksport yesterday, they were saying Evans is probably the most underrated CB in England, even suggesting that he is better than Stones, and that's why City are looking at him. This wasn't the listeners/callers saying this, it was Jason Cundy and some other nob he was presenting with......he then went on to say that Everton need to sign Diego Costa, and then they'll get a top 4 finish. Shame on you It's often a guilty pleasure of mine but like a when having a danger wank I always feel cheap and dirty after. It's a barmy world when a) He's worth 18 mil and b ) they can/have to turn it down . . . Good news on the Parky situation. Best for all involved it would seem Edited August 17, 20179 yr by madthatter

Absolutely out of their minds on that station! I mean I don't especially rate Stones that much but Evans is gash. Very good at walking around like ten men like Stephen Taylor used to do at Newcastle though.
August 17, 20179 yr All j can think of is that citeh need a player to fill the 'homegrown' quota for the champs league. They've had a few shitters in the side to fill that role Fabian Delph was last seasons
August 17, 20179 yr How satisfying can it be spending a few hundred million to get top 4? Yeah we failed all these years trying to get there sensibly and bringing through youth. Now we can't be arsed so just sign everyone. There can't be much satisfaction for a fan when your team costs £600m and you beat a team that cost £20m? It would be like a home cup match every other week.

August 17, 20179 yr There can't be much satisfaction for a fan when your team costs £600m and you beat a team that cost £20m? Fans really don't care how much their team spends (unless it's deemed as "not enough"). There is always satisfaction in winning, no matter the gulf in class or spending power Edited August 17, 20179 yr by Sweep

There is always satisfaction in winning, no matter the gulf in class or spending power Can't see the level of satisfaction of beating Fulham at home the same for Man City fans as it would be for us. Especially a scrappy 1-0
August 17, 20179 yr Can't see the level of satisfaction of beating Fulham at home the same for Man City fans as it would be for us. Especially a scrappy 1-0 They are a division above them and we are not. Not that it makes any difference. Are you saying some fans don't like winning?
August 29, 20178 yr Madine to Preston? Not a particularly reliable source. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/08/29/por-preston-eye-bolton-star-madine/
August 29, 20178 yr And leave us with no main striker and no money and 4.5k per week wages to tempt someone else. Would rather say thanks but no thanks myself and keep him
August 29, 20178 yr incredibly poor source ...........pure speculation after PNE striker Hugil asked for a transfer(which he is unlikely to get)
August 29, 20178 yr And leave us with no main striker and no money and 4.5k per week wages to tempt someone else. Would rather say thanks but no thanks myself and keep him I'd take the gamble. We need more

August 29, 20178 yr you don't honestly think that any incoming transfer money would be re-invested do you ?
August 29, 20178 yr you don't honestly think that any incoming transfer money would be re-invested do you ?If aimed at me. No but frees a space up for an incoming
