I was listening to some of the nobbers on Talksport yesterday, they were saying Evans is probably the most underrated CB in England, even suggesting that he is better than Stones, and that's why City are looking at him. This wasn't the listeners/callers saying this, it was Jason Cundy and some other nob he was presenting with......he then went on to say that Everton need to sign Diego Costa, and then they'll get a top 4 finish.

Absolutely out of their minds on that station! I mean I don't especially rate Stones that much but Evans is gash. Very good at walking around like ten men like Stephen Taylor used to do at Newcastle though.

Fans really don't care how much their team spends (unless it's deemed as "not enough"). There is always satisfaction in winning, no matter the gulf in class or spending power
