We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Oh don't get me wrong I bet it was

But outside of a good Bolton away game, the rest of footy is dogshit

No idea why I still have sky sports

I think, aside from getting older, there's just too much coverage

Wall to wall live football involving teams we have little interest in

Youre getting older you pair of drama queens

It's what you make it

Millwall was a fantastic trip

jules wouldn't know

Get rid of sky sports Jules, best thing I've ever done. I now only follow the results I've got a bet on as well as Bolton who I very rarely bet on

I'm bored with football. If I didn't have Bolton Wanderers in my blood I doubt I'd watch the game much at all. The astronomical transfer fees at Prem level leaves me cold. It's madness even compared to when we were there five or six years ago. TV, radio and the internet is saturated with over-kill analysis. The matchday experience is OK with Bolton for me.... but years ago I could cheerfully go to watch a match involving other clubs. I'd rather watch paint dry now. Saturday afternoon is about hoping Bolton win. Then I hope United, Blackburn, Wigan and one or two others lose. Then by 6pm on a Saturday I'm thinking about something else. All of the dross served up on a Sunday is absent from whatever I'm doing and I'll next engage with footy when Bolton play.

It was good to see all the young Huddersfield fans living the dream in London the other weekend when we were down there playing Millwall. I just thought to myself - I'm not sure I could ever reach that level of enthusiasm again, regardless of what Bolton are doing.

???? Next away I will write your mrs a playing out note

Combine that with Wolvws bidding £15m for players for our league

Football as we know it had gone

Fucking shite

Never felt so dispassionate about our game

Would rather have watched Traf play snooker on teletext than Jim cunting White last night

Go footy for beer and your mates. The rest is gash

its a natural progression wait until your lad gets interested your interest will then rekindle, for now you've more important priorities in life.

Mounts is right there.

Just that my lad is struggling to get into it. It hasn't helped given the recent managers we've had!

took him to handful last season and he was buzzing because we was doing well

So far we're getting beat and he's like what's going on????

Nows the hard part of keeping the enthusiasm up

Does your lad go away games, just as the atmosphere being better?

Could have written that myself

You'll be discovering golf next  . . . ;)

I am worried that it's gonna be a hard sell getting my lad to be a wanderer living down here but the seeds are being sewn . . . full kit for him for his 1st bday off my brother for starters.

I'll disown him if he starts chasing eggs though . . .

Just homes.

Funny thing is, at his age, I was pretty much going without adult supervision. Not sure I'd let him do the same, even if he wanted.

Mind you, at his age we were getting 4-5000 on, pick your place when you got there. How things change

I've still got a few unused from th ones you missed last season when you weren't allowed out to play, I'll lend you those :D

Sometimes the buzz just builds and it's a fantastic feeling.

It happened under Ian Greaves

It happened under Rioch

It happened under Allardyce

Last season was great, but the buzz isn't building due to the financial constraints etc.

You need a lot of dosh in the Championship these days.

Don't worry, next Sunday sky's big serving is burnley v palace

You'll soon be in love with game again

I don't bother with match of the day anymore not arsed about premiership if we are not in it who gives a shit.cancelled sky sports years ago don't even watch England anymore !

Agree. Cancelled Sky Sports about 4 years ago and haven't missed it. The footie was like moving wallpaper. Always the same presentation and zero originality.

Haven't had Sky for a year now and it's great. Stick with Kodi and Vader streams and I've got all channels anyway and it costs me in a year what I'd spend on Sky per month

Baptista appears to be at the hotel and says he has an announcement

Good grief

Baptista appears to be at the hotel and says he has an announcement

"These pitchers of ale are great value"?

Master stroke or big mistake?

Remember his 4 goals for Arsenal against Liverpool but it was a long time ago.

Nixon reckons done!
