August 8, 20179 yr Funnily enough we play 3 in centre mid. Derek doesn't convince as a holding centre mid for me. Cullen and karacan are a given. Perry and Earling won't be playing in first team anytime soon due to the embargo rules. If one of our u23's was to play it would be imo hall or king. Not what we need at all. problem we have is I can't see any defensive experienced midfielders who are any good being available on a loan and I think that's likely what we are going to have to do loan a player til Jan. Free agents will prob be a no go unless we can get agreement from efl to bring someone in due to Velas Injury Surely under the embargo loaning a player is same as signing a free agent - If our squads full we can do neither

This wasn't the listeners/callers saying this, it was Jason Cundy and some other nob he was presenting with......he then went on to say that Everton need to sign Diego Costa, and then they'll get a top 4 finish.

Before City bid for him they weren't saying that. Its absolute nonsense. If Evans is worth £18M then Wheater is worth at least £10M. And we know he isn't.
