Think Ennis was only folk putting 2&2 together as SS has signed him twice already.

He was talking to a friend of mine after his last game at Blackpool and he said he really didn't fancy Wigan as the place is a morgue.

Surely we'll be getting a couple in?  We're down to the bear bones with only 2 fit strikers, if we bring one in there's a bit of leeway but we'd have no wriggle room.  One injury and its the same 2 strikers every game, with none on the bench.  I'll be amazed if we go with only 3 especially as none of Dalby, McAtee and Collins would have decent pace, I expect SS to fill that gap if he can.

Like you i expect at least two forwards in, but one would like you say  have to have pace and one who can certainly hold the ball up and win headers

Nobody's paying those amounts for any of those players IMO.  L1 is a league of free transfers.  For players no longer needed its a question of getting someone to take over their contracts in 90% of cases (or loans), we aren't getting fees for them generally.  We may sell one or max 2 but those fees are about twice what I'd expect anyone to pay.

I agree, I'd be amazed if we could raise a million for that lot, think most of them with 12 months or so remaining on their contracts could well be loaned out and we'll pay towards their salaries.
