We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

Ayez this really can't be underestimated.

I've never seen a stat, but our retention in the final third must be up there with the worst in the league.

Reckon all that fannying around in the man city arch probably pushes that figure up.

But like you day Collins and McAtee couldn't win a header between them.

6'3. Can hold the ball up and doesn’t sound like a mincing tart like the rest of our strikers. I'm happy.

Matty Jacob a left back is being mentioned from Hull City.

At first, I was a bit wary of us being in for a target man Parky didn't rate but I've read that he did offer him a new contract and he turned it down so it seems that's not the case

Hopefully if he does sign, he'll offer us that presence up front we're sorely lacking

Left back....Things seem to have gone quiet with Roughan  at Lincoln

Jacob seems decent but once again had issues with injuries....Thought we had changed from this sort of recruiment

The only positive on this rumour is that he is a left/back not a 5/7 inverted wingback

Whilst I won’t claim to know him or watch a lot of Dundee United games...

Then your opinion is null and void on here, my friend 😉

Imagine we start with Dan upfront this season

Like a new singing :D

Just been reading about players finishing at Everton.

Above our "pay grade" no doubt, but putting that aside, would Michael Keane be someone that could really help solidify us, with his experience?

Local lad too.

He is currently on around £90k a week.....bonkers innit.

Chance he could stay yet, and be 3rd/4th choice, but 90k a week ffs!!!

He's also had a deal agreed with an MLS club for weeks already, I believe.

Oh thats news to me, be a good move that.

He is a better striker than McAtee too I recon.....

It's a no from me.

I'd take a punt at getting hold of either Wootton or Olaofe from Stockport. Only up the road so not much upheaval and big dent for a major rival next season.

Can't see either costing more than Mcatee.

What's our guess as to what happend with Victor:

Persevere to fit him in?

Move him out, sale/loan?

Two for one with Dan!

Nobody's going to sign anyone who's out with an ACL injury

Why is it interesting?

Because I hadn't realised it was a 6m deal. Because he i initially settled in well. Because I thought he was a decent pkay if used properly. Because he looked as good as anyone else can in red. Because I like Greenhalgh's meat pies.

You don't have to agree. On any of it I just thought it was.
