With Jimmy joining us on the 11th officially, it wouldn't suprise me if we wait to announce signings until then. Who knows we could already have a couple signed.

Not got a clue if we have signed anybody, but Roughan has been released by Lincoln yet he is not linked with anybody

That keeper Traff says has signed from Chelsea who was on loan at Doncaster the same.......Sam Dalby had three or four clubs chasing him......Again that has gone quiet once he talked with us.....Likewise the full back from Hull who has  three or four clubs interested yet no other club has been mentioned......Not saying we have signed any of these four players yet their are no rumours currently of any of the four moving anywhere

Lincoln did want Roughan to stay, but he didn't sign a new contract.

Not sure he was "released" in the normal sense.

Very true......Seems everything has gone silent on our supposed targets

Everyone is on holiday and the window opened 3 days ago.

Thing is, they're only rumours and hearsay at the moment.

Traf reckons one is done, which it may be, but nothing official so for me, there is nothing to be excited about yet. Equally, there is nothing to be concerned about yet.

Talks were going on way before that though, moves just couldn’t be confirmed until then. Lincoln have already confirmed that they have completed a deal for Roughan with an unnamed club which could or could not be us. Deals could have been completed and not released for a number of reasons, even as stupid as waiting for a new kit to be supplied for them to be seen in. I’d be surprised if no deals have been done given we know some of the targets we’ve been after.

Social media guy on holiday. No one available to splice movie clips together for the reveal videos.

And that pleasant chap that does all the player interviews needs to be back from his hols too so that we can find out why they decided to join BWFC ("playing in this stadium, in front of these fans, it was a no brainer").

Same for me.

But this is Wanderersways. We need to be gushing with excitement and happy clapping or aghast with disappointment and rage because, nothing is happening or the signings we’ve made and the players we have left are shit 😂

The real Pete O'Rourke saying Dalby is imminent.

Can't say I'm an expert on the lad but I like the theory behind the move, if we can sign a more prolific option as well and give ourselves some depth of options and versatility of system.

If we could get Jatta in as well and then it frees Collins up to play off the left and McAtee to drop deeper if he sticks around.

If we have any money for transfers, I just hope that the deals are done early in time for the preseason. Like everyone else, I hate not knowing how much leeway our financial position gives us, but whatever our squad for next season I’d be much happier if the players have plenty of time to gel.

We all would, but we're not in preseason training yet!

If blokes are on holiday, they may not have even been spoken to yet, or have gone away to consider their options.

If we are looking at free agents then others will be too, and they are likely to have more suitors than someone for whom a transfer fee would be payable.

Seems that Jordan Houghton who most assumed we'd be in for due to Schumacher-Argyle connection has signed for the mighty Stevenage.

I wasn't expecting that tbh, thought he would have been coming here, maybe we're looking at paying some cash out then?

If he wasn't extending his deal at Argyle in which apparently he did get an offer then it made sense assuming he'd likely come to us or the rugby team due to the connections. Argyle fans seem surprised by it as they rate him pretty highly it seems, did notice he's from London though so could be location like a lot of lower league careers. Yeah, hopefully we manage to bring in somebody who will really be part of a spine as it seems we've had the same lot Morley, Sheehan, Thomo, Demps for ages now & it deffo needs freshening up.

Yeah, that's what I thought with him being from down South. He's supposed to be a great professional and a leader too, someone I thought would be ideal tbh.

Still would push for Erahon at a cost of 1m Lincoln, Bring Roughan and Paudie Oconnor in the same taxi

Add Jota for 800k and Sam Dalby and we wont be far off.

Interesting couple of months ahead
