We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

He is currently on around £90k a week.....bonkers innit.

Chance he could stay yet, and be 3rd/4th choice, but 90k a week ffs!!!

I know where he lives. Being a 3/4 choice centre half gets you a fuck of a lot house.

Madness.

Can't blame the players I suppose, and training and sitting on the bench most games isn't a bad way to earn a living.

Have we signed anybody yet? 🥱

He has cost the club around £60 million - Wages & Transfer fee, over 8 years.

And thats an average prem defender.

When you are travelling in the car do you ask ‘are we there yet’ ? A lot 😂

You should know that.

Incredible that.

I see Chelsea paid £5m to avoid buying Sancho.  He's on 300k a week, Utd don't want him and still owe Dortmund £70m for him!

They still owe £17m.

They aren't THAT stupid !! 😂

Plus the rumour was he was bought in as a direct replacement for Phil Neville..

Yeah good luck to him but still glad he’s gone.

pre injury / sulky cunt he was good. Personally don’t think he’s that level but who am I to judge. He will be getting a decent bit of coin

His Mrs will be happy .

Good luck Rico

I hope he fucking rots in their reserves, the big soft puff

Presumably, tongue in check. Swansea is a similar distance to London, as Bolton!

He's going to be in for a nasty shock when he realises all clubs have a healthy quota of online bellends

Maybe Santos thinks we have more based on comparing us to his former clubs, its a numbers game.

Still wish him all the best though.

That's it though; he's gone and isn't of great interest anymore.

A professional footballer should not be on any form of social media.

I share your same impatience, as interesting as the gossip is.

just need a thread for confirmed singings - with no before after nonsense 😄

Ha, echos of my granddaughter who does all the time. Must be catching? In fairness though others like Blackpool and Huddersfield have been busy signing the type of players who might have done well here.

Just to be clear, I wasn't a part of the problem.

When people get involved in social media, particularly high profile people then it always amazes me when they get offended when negativity comes their way in whatever form.

I don't condone the abuse but i think getting involved in such things is short sighted and almost invites it.

I recall him then sulking and not coming over to the fans at the end of games in protest. To me, that makes him a wanker.

Call it what you will but a little appreciation of the travelling contingent spending their hard earned on a cold Tuesday night away after a shite performance is the least the players can do in my book.

Especially as the majority were not responsible.

He didn't like it ergo he became a big soft puff in my eyes therefore the point still stands despite what the sympathizers may say.

😎

Incredible work

Are you that bloke that spaffs over him?

Good player initially when he could be arsed.

Good riddance.

Hope he’s happy sitting on the bench and ending up at Shrewsbury on loan in 12 months time. On the plus side at least his fridge is getting filled somewhere else.
