We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

looks like Ennis is off to Blackpool on a permanent deal......Impressed with their signings this pre-season

To be fair if he was shown round like I’m told and he’s chosen the donkey lashers then good riddance. Not worthy of the shirt.

If he wasn’t offered owt then apologies Ennis and enjoy uncle Brian’s

I do think Blackpool could be up there. We do need more options but I’m not fussed about Ennis in the slightest.

Probably come back to bite me, but I don’t think he’s all that.

He’s the type of player we need but if he’s chosen Cesspool over us then he needs to give his head a wobble.

Stoke fans thought he was crap!!

The only reasons would be length of deal and guaranteed place.

I suppose he already knows the place - and he'll have some mates there.

Plus there's that new Reform pub.

He's a fan of that 'Remainer's Tears' they have on tap 😁

Ennis signed for the donkey lashers

it's ok I'm sure we have someone lined up to replace Collins

If we'd been in for Ennis I am guessing he'd have come here. It's been very quiet on that front for weeks from a BWFC perspective. All suggests to me we've had one or two others in mind all along. At 5ft 10 he's hardly the all out target man type to provide direct competition for Dalby.

Yes Jatta at 6’ 4”, Dalby at 6’ 3” and big David the same, what a forward presence that would be? 😁

New coach appointed today for Notts County so let’s see if Jatta is available?

He looked about 7ft to our team of bottle job cunts at their gaff.

Probs

Tempting as I find it, Im not writing him off, hes an absolute novice, but if we have a few quid spare, id pay barrow to take him for a year

Big Dave likes defenders to get really close and he grabs their shirts with the hand closest to their body as he turns, it's v difficult to spot and the defender quite often is either off balance which allows him get a yard away or they react and pull him down. Won loads of free kicks last year high up the pitch. Interesting to see how much time he gets or if they send him on loan.

We are still pretty desperate for another attacker really

Hey, you have seen plenty of him, but hes definitely a specimin and looks lacking in guile which is fair enough...play to your strengths

However, he will come up against folk who can match him now

What do you make of lattrell

Bad timing when he needed to go to the caribbean!

Yeah, most of the defenders at academy level can't match him for strength so will be interesting to see if his tricks work. He stuggles if the defender stands off him.

Latrell is more direct, runs at players and gets bounce offs. Much lower centre of gravity than Dave. Still raw. Absolute character in the dressing room too. Proper nice lad, high work rate and dead enthusiastic. Hope he makes it somewhere. I dropped him off at wigan northwestern once on his way back to see his family in london and he was telling me about his family in Jamaica, they live in countryside by the sea.
