That would be a big mistake for me. Inwood showed he can step up to the first team, last season, and does not count towards the squad quota.

If we’re going to loan players out, use those who would count towards the squad quota, but are not expected to feature.

I meant in more a sense of fitness wise. I accept he's not particularly quick and he definitely lacks a burst of pace. But I do think his ability to cross the ball would be an asset as an LB. Don't think I'd want him as the first choice LB, but I do think it suits him

I'm not sure full back need to be particularly blessed with speed. Some of the best out there are hardly rapid.

Yeah but we were playing treacle ball and only had wingbacks. We’re now robust, dynamic and likely to play a formation that gives us genuine wingers with full backs behind them to offer protection. Morley and Sheehan’s biggest problem will be choosing which one they want to pick out.

You were making the point that we now had pace - I was just saying we already had it.  But we (IE and SS) chose to play with wingbacks instead of full backs and wingers.   Without knowing the quality of players brought in compared to those already here, all we're fairly certain of for now is a change in formation, we don't know if the new wingers are better than Tutu and Schon (obviously we all hope and assume they are).

If someone on here listed every player the someone wanted out, we wouldn't have a squad to start the new season. Thomasson was far from our worst player last season.

Thomasson at full back has me thinking about Scott Green, dropped back in there and whilst not the quickest certainty did a good job for us.....and like GT was combative and could deliver a decent ball.

I'd make Huddersfield one of the favourites this time, and they're certainly splashing the cash on players they reckon can get them promotion. 

If they are looking at our captain, then I reckon that means he is well regarded. 

Every player has a price of course, and ultimately its down to SS, but there are others I'd imagine he is looking to ship out first.

Always felt he was wasted there though.

Green had a quality all round game, but I felt he was best used further forward. 

Having brought in Simons, if Ceesay is also to sign, I would imagine one of the current midfield cohort will be shipped out.

He was certainly well regarded when Bristol City offered £1m for him when he'd barely played that much for us

Funny thing is, imo, even with a couple more seasons and captaincy experience under his belt, I'm not sure we'd get as good an offer for him this time

The only player I was bothered about keeping was Collins and he's gone, I'm really not arsed now about who else might leave

I'm seeing SS building a new look team and line up, whoever he is happy to move on and not be a part of that is fine by me

There is no doubt he is a good un. His fitness record would be of concern to any prospective buyer.

Huddersfield probably wished we hadn't sold one of our players to a rival in January!  

And beggars can't be choosers, if we need to reduce the size of the squad and maybe get some money in, there won't be a queue of takers that we can choose from, that the player will agree to go to.

Tomo, Collins and Morley were probably the only 3 I wanted to keep from last season. Collins has gone already if be wanting decent money for our only midfielder with a bit of fight in him.
