We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

You have to wonder why we seem to be the only club in for him (that we know of), if he's so highly rated.

A few have said he's championship standard so it wouldn't be a surprise if Hull saw him as an upgrade (I don't have a clue by the way, if he signs for us I'll find out, if he doesn't I don't care).

Hull have other targets .

Are hull not under a transfer embargo??

So they are, that was news to me, good knowledge.

3 window transfer embargo for failing to pay Villa a £1mil loan fee for Barry.

I wonder how much of a fee we're paying them for our new striker?  And the winger on loan too.

It's usually their wages + bonuses, and the fee (and discount) is determined by how much they play

Loving the amount of options to change it up we have now.

I think 4231 is his go to formation but we've now got plenty of scope to go 442 or 5 at the back if required.

I can't wait to see how it all pans out.

The intrigue is ace.

and the best part is if we have seen he's not afraid to do it during the actual game and responding with relevant subs and formation changes as and when required

I get we'll be paying their wages and bonuses, but surely the fee is agreed up front, not at the end of the loan based on appearances?  That might count against the player if its costing the club more every time he plays.

Anyway, not important in the grand scheme of things.

Wasn't it that he was shit at centre-half but mustard once Big Sam had him sitting in front of the back four?

Reactive, dynamic and robust, giant, bastard shoot on sight whites.

We’ll do well to fit that into a song

Randell Williams being linked with a move to Gloomfield Road.

I know a staffer from Hull. Told he’s a good lad, works hard, plenty of potential for improvement, but he was down the pecking order and we shouldn’t expect much return by way of goals.

It's a set fee, to be paid at the end of the loan. The discount is larger the more they play.

In reality, how many games is ge going to get here, once our injuries have cleared up?

🎼🎶  Not Ian Evatt's oooo-oo

we're not ian Evatt's.

Not Ian Evatt's

We're not Ian Evatt's 🎶🎼

that covers it.

Presumably this means we've given up on Ahadme, which would be a relief

I don't know anything about Burstow other than he's fucking huge and would seem to have a good pedigree

His highlights reel makes him look like he'd be a good option to hold-up/link-up the play

Forward and quickly, everywhere we go.

Cross it and twat it in, everywhere we go.

Not sure he’d come here thinking he’s going to be playing second or third fiddle. No idea what our plans for him are

In is interview he knows he is starting Saturday and then when Dalby is back Dalby can’t play evert minute of every game so he will get plenty of minutes .

If he gets off to a good start dalby will be the one coming off the bench

Not sure Dalby came to be playing second fiddle neither.

One is on loan, one isn't.

If, and it's a big if, Kenny comes, then 3 into 1 is going to be interesting.

We're Bolton, our injuries never clear up, it's one after another, it never ends

Hopefully.

That's Blackpool losing in the play off final then.

Plenty of scope for ingame changes and the likes.

Think this Hull lad can play as wide forward and a 10 too.

I sense a flaw in the argument 😄
