You’re off again 😂

How do you know it’s needless?

If SS wants it and Fergal and Sharon have sanctioned it, they won’t have done this on a whim, or to the detriment of the club, or at the expense of the players budget.

Do you know what Tutte and the other B team staff who have now gone were on? Do you know if his wage is more than they can afford or more than what their budget is for coaching staff?

Do you heck, you’re just off on one of your you think you know more those in charge rants again.

Ok spin it around.....Tell me why it is not needless. Tell me why we need additional coaching staff.....Please do not say Sharon would not have sanctioned it on a whim. She is a great business Woman but we have for all of her Tenure hired and fired coaches on what the first team coach reccomends

Tutte and the B team staff have been replaced.....And great to see Darby and his team step in

If you are happy not to question anything that goes on behind close doors, perhaps a football forum is not for you.....I am one of SS biggest backers, but if he says we cannot afford a keeper on a Sunday then appoints backroom staff on a Monday i want to know why!!!

Second, the NHS analogy is so wide of the mark. 2% of NHS staff are managers, compared with 11% across UK industry. In addition, 2% of NHS expenditure is administrative, compared with 5% and 6% in the German and French health systems.

However, both us and the NHS are massively underfunded so we at least have that in common 😀

Back on topic.....Seems we are linked with Newcastle forward Sean Neave 19 highly rated on loan

When did he say we can't afford a keeper?

Dress it up how you want, but when he says a keeper is not a priority with a team with a limited budget.....It is we cannot afford a keeper

That was at the week-end....Monday another backroom coach comes in

So he didn't. You've just twisted his words so you've got something to moan about.

You’re the one who claimed it was needless, it’s not for me to outline why we do. There could be hundreds of valid reason why this appointment has been made; experience of the championship, an older head, coaching talents which are different to what we have.

It could be none of them, all of them and/or plenty more.

I’m quite happy to claim I don’t have the knowledge to the reasons behind the appointment, you on the other hand are quick to say it’s needless without knowing fuck all as to why it might be needless.

As has been pointed out to you by plenty of posters other than me, it’s not that you are criticised for having an opinion, it’s your initial assuredness and conviction of being adamant that your negative opinion is right and the club/manager/owners are wrong.

You always revert back to I’m not happy for anything to be questioned by the club/manager and opinion isn’t allowed. Incorrect, this forum allows and promotes that and I’m all for it, but I’ll consistently call you and others out, who repeatedly think they know more than the experts, but whom quite regularly get it wrong.

I was going to wait till England get to the final, but I’ll call it now, your assuredness of how crap Tuchel is will go down as a classic should we win on Wednesday. In fact it looks pretty ropey even now 😊👍

If we win on Wed it will be down to Bellingham and Kane and not Tuchel...Not sure why i am debating football with somebody who spent 8 hours a day for a week counting dots on Wembleys ticket plan

Got promoted last season without him.......Getting Evatt vibes jobs for the boys. Got 4 keepers on our books none are Championship standard

Get three loaned out and you could have put those wages and the new coaches wages for a Championship quality keeper

Had enough of hearing we have a limited budget then needless appointments its been happening since covid

Also under performed in a big proportion of the first 46 games without him. We failed to get the number of points needed last season, but we got a 2nd chance. If we fail to get the number of points needed this season we won't get a 2nd chance, so improvement is needed on and off the pitch presumably (SS obviously thinks so).

🤣 👏

You see I’m quite happy to laugh at myself and accept my happy clappy foibles.

You should give it a go and learn to accept you are a strange fish yourself.

All the build up to the Play-offs and final about what SS should do, then after one of our best results and experiences ever as a BWFC fan, nothing, absolutely nothing about how good it was, how SS got it right…

.. your first post was days later.. on the transfer thread about who he should be buying/keeping 🤣

So you was stalking me inbetween counting dots......Not sure i remember much about the 48 hours after Wembley

Yes he got Bradford right and Wembley went with us

He got Luton wrong, but thankfully he gets most things right

Couple of points here.

First, we don’t have “managers”. Schumacher is head coach. If a manager can have an assistant manager, can’t a head coach have an assistant coach? Remember, managers and assistant managers also have coaches.

Second, the NHS analogy is so wide of the mark. 2% of NHS staff are managers, compared with 11% across UK industry. In addition, 2% of NHS expenditure is administrative, compared with 5% and 6% in the German and French health systems.

I’m not going to bother arguing the point with you but since the NHS has around 1.3m employees, by far the biggest in Europe, that’s still around 65k Management and admin staff at the 4-6% total. Add in their higher salary and ridiculous pensions which most in private companies don’t get near and it’s still hugely uncompetitive.

Nah, while I was trying to recall your Tuchel posts it took me back to May/June.

Glad you acknowledge he gets most things right.

And I also acknowledge he doesn’t get everything right and him, the club are not without debate or criticism.

As I said the only thing I consistently call out is the dramatic assuredness that something is negatively definite, when it’s not.

Leave it there, I like our to and fro’s as long as they don’t become Sluffy style in length and go on for days.

Enjoy your day 😊👍

My mate reckons he's seen some lads painting at the ground.

Imagine spending money on ground remdieial works when we need to sign players. Tins of paint aren't cheap and that £23.59 for some Dulex Gloss could've gone towards a 20 goal a season striker.

It's a fucking disgrace.

Fergal been kicking off about it, how do you attract players when it looks like that

Unsure why Sharon would get involved in the hiring of auxiliary staff?

Tell you what, if you think 99% of people understand the difference between "Head Coach" and 'Manager" you're greatly mistaken.

Tje NHS analogy, I assume you or someone close works there, means you've swallowed the book of excuses.

There is a similarity though. For both, no matter how much money they're given they'll always want more.

Sorry to quote facts on here, but Tutte is still here and working with Darby.

Could have bought a goalkeeper with that money. Suggest we just get rid of all the back room staff. They clearly contribute nothing.

Not a new signing but according to the BN this morning Richard Taylor’s back in the fold for pre season. The lad has a lot to prove but his commitment to return from the break in such good shape seems to have impressed Schuey. There’s clearly a player in there and if he can deliver what we all expected of him last year it will be almost like having a new signing. Good luck Richard.

The number of players over the years who the twitterati have written off to be absolute dog shit, no hopers, worst signings ever - that then turn out to be at the very least solid servants, all the way up to being club legends - is mad.

One of them scored a bicycle kick at Wembley just a few weeks ago ffs. Another went from figure of utter ridicule to being compared with Okocha within the space of weeks.

Taylor was very poor in his brief few appearances (though did look okay in pre season) but he may come good over time. Who knows, maybe he won't. Needs to be given a chance though.

To be fair to Masi it was me who mentioned Tutte not him.

I remembered someone leaving it was Matt Taylor

I agree with your point tough, no way these coaching reshuffles will impact the playing budget…. IMO

I have a view, re. Taylor.

No insider ITK. could be entirely wrong, but sometimes a player fails a test & gets an extended playing suspension but it's not broadcast to the World.

Just wondering out loud.

Having missed a year & returning at a higher level he has a task on his hands though.

Need to do a lot better than Taylor and Conway

Assuming Taylor was fit and available (he may not have been as per @Dr. Feelgood 's post), then it comes across the only writing off and "worst signing ever" viewpoint was that of the manager. As fans we hardly saw him to judge, and if he had a poor 20 minutes v Port Vale reserves we as fans put 2 and 2 together and decided he must be terrible.

But "needs to be given a chance" can be turned round as being indecisive, the common theme with GJ, Tutu and Dempsey was that they were judged as not good enough for the championship, they certainly weren't given a chance to prove it, the concensus was that we decisively released them to make room for others. So why would we give a chance to Taylor in a division above the one that he hasn't proved himself? That takes up a squad place and salary that we weren't prepared to give to 3 proven, influential players.

Just playing devil's advocate here, good luck to Taylor wherever he plays this season, but its not as simple as just giving everyone a chance, decisions have to be made or we're stuck with a L1 squad.

You reckon England need better than Anderson and Rice.

Just on the coachgate scenario.

It's highly probably that the club have separately agreed budgets for playing and coaching staff.

I'd be very surprised if they've turned down a decent player to make space/money for this coach.
