FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Looking forward to opposition fans saying’Watch out, Beadle’s about!’

Would be as good as a signing for our level and budget I think, he's worth about 8 million.

England U21 no1 and spent the past 3 seasons playing in the Championship regularly.

6ft 7 too so he'sa big lad. Heard he's a bit clumsy with the ball at his feet but great shot stopper which is what we will need and the opposite of TSL.

At 20 years old (21 2 weeks ago) he's played 93 Championship games, on loan, at Sheff Wed, Birmingham & Oxford.

I'll live with him not being all that with the ball at his feet so long as he knows this & doesn't try to be.

See us being way more direct than previous seasons...keeper will be knocking it long

Gets my vote.

Two wingers, a strong centre forward, maybe 2. Stop the Pep-ball completely.

That's upto SS. Nobody knew if Jussi or Branagan were any good with their feet.

Bonham knows he's not great with his feet but he's instructed to try and it's a bit scary at times, but we're not alone with that. Birmingham/Beadle had some comedy moments last season.

I know the uncle of a lad we've been tracking for some time, tried to bring him in in Jan.

His club won't budge on the price for us but willing to sell to Salford for half the price.

So he's not coming. He's a right back so we're still in that market.

I get rivalry but turning down money is odd, even for Salford.

What's he called?

we should let him go to Salford for half the price, then the next day buy him off Salford for full price

Salford aren't turning the money down

Fair point. I misread it. Sounds a bit Wiganish ... or Blackpool.

The point remains though.

aye

curious to know who a right back that is on the radar of both us and salford is, that is more likely to end up in L2 that the Championship

he's either moving down a league or two to them, or a massive punt on our part

I can't imagine we're chasing anyone below the championship now we've got promoted

they'd have to be a really good L1 or L2 prospect

which is why it's surprising salford are in for him, and could get him at half price

sorry @Flannel Truscott but without a name this sounds like bollocks to me

celtic have signed a Colombian striker, so that might improve our chances of getting Kenny.

Yes I saw that and reportedly they’re after others for their European campaign this coming season so it can’t do any harm to our chances with Kenny.

They're after a Norwegian fella as well, Tobias Lauritsen, looks a bit of a bagsman. Wouldn't mind him here myself, available on a free.

Kenny won't be playing for Celtic next season (whether he leaves or not). If they rated him he wouldn't have been here last season and they need to be seen to be improving after a disappointing season, not taking a perceived step back. It doesn't matter who they sign or don't sign, Kenny will be moving if someone matches the price, assuming he's fit. If we were still in L1, as fans we'd be desperate to convince him to come to us, now we're a championship club I'd have thought he was the minimum standard we can attract.

Disappointing season- they won the league.

Will never win the champion's league, so I'd say it was a decent season for them.

You're a hard man to please I reckon!😁
