Gone for free. how much did Sunderland get for Pickford? £25m? That covers the clubs losses for 5 years. this is why the club is on its arse. We are dogshit at selling youth players for decent money. It’s unreal how good these players are that never actually stepped up. The less they play the better people think they are. he was loaned out to non league and did nothing. Hope it works out for him but won’t hold my breathe Quote

Turner was in the same year as Jaaskeleinan and miles better than him. You can never tell for sure but he was the best youth keeper in the club by some way with all the tools to be a very good keeper. The keepers train (and sometimes play) up a year so my lad worked with both Turner and Will. Turner was a good lad so good luck to him. He didnt have much time for junior. You aren't a cricketer are you? (May seem random if you aren't but I know one of the youth keepers from cricket.) Quote

Blondi Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko Preston. Josh Earl can go on loan. Bolton (?) hoping to do a deal. Tranmere also keen. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 If FV haven't yet completed the takeover & therefore can't pay players wages how can we sign players? Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 What are people's thoughts about Pearson? Talking with my neighbour, he said apart from briefly at Leicester he's not done much and seems to cause trouble. A realistic assessment or a bit harsh? Quote

Naytch Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Happily take Evans, proven goal scorer at L1 level. Get him signed Quote
Roger_Dubuis Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 I can't see the Accrington chairman being chuffed if Bolton are deferring some players wages for 2 years yet allowed to sign someone as expensive as Ched Evans Quote

I don't think the players wages are being "deferred" anyway are they? 20% up front, then the rest paid in installments. That's how I read it. Quote
gonzo Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 I hope we turn up at accy and smash the place to pieces. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Who gives fuck about the opinion of the chairman of Accrington Stanley, who are they? Quote

It's been widely reported that this loan from the PFA is to pay current players wages only, players who have already left will have them deferred for up to 2 years. The Accrington chairman likes moaning about unfair treatment of his small club compared to bigger ones, he is entitled to an opinion like anyone else. They wouldn't be able to afford Ched Evans wages. I hope we bring Evans in and partner him with Madine if we can get away with it. Quote
radcliffe white Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Like when the Scunthorpe chairman started crying last time in league 1 Concentrate on your own tinpot club Quote
