I’d certainly be up for giving him a chance. Not like he’s ever relied on pace and was playing two tiers above this level last season.

FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

If he’s still capable of doing a job at L2 level which I imagine he will be, give him 12 months.

Will also give more opportunity to let Graham go out on loan

He’s a superb passer of the ball, in this league his pass completion rate would be very high, experienced head as well .

Id have the pikey looking cunt

21 championship games last year, still only 34. No brainier if fit

Joe Bunney is not getting a contract according to the BN.

Wouldn’t be too arsed if that’s true. There’s better out there.

Doyle is 32

Heard a little rumour that Bunney was not as fit as the others and wasn’t enjoying being pushed by Evatt, so no loss there then. He would have been a disaster in high back line, we need athletic wing backs.

Yep. No room for carrying passengers or just filling slots in the squad these days

Agree with both. The wing backs will have to work hard, but we knew that anyway. Sit Adam in the middle of the park to spray the ball about and let the younger lads do the running.

The uproar if skint Bolton in L2 sign Charlie Adam

Not sure I quite share the enthusiasm for Adam. Perhaps with a coaching role, like the keeper, maybe.

Can't see Adam playing a full 90 minutes especially for an energetic style that we should be playing, I'd imagine he'll be used sparingly, maybe for the last 30 minutes to add some experience and steady the ship if necessary.

Charlie adam could stroll through games in division 4, ffs

The ball will be moved much more quickly with his passing than some fcuker pegging it around the pitch non stop

Hes capable of running the game without moving

exactly. he wouldnt even need to break sweat.

he would look like fernando hierro at that level.

Charlie Adam would be such a difference.

On some shit surfaces we really need that head In the middle of the park to control the game.

Correct.  Plus his corners and free kicks are quality, and he'll score a few long rangers.

Saying that I'm a big fan of Darcy and getting Adam for 12 months may stunt his development which is already under threat from so many new midfielders.

Don’t think darcy and Adam are the same player personally

I think Darcy could More likely cover politic injury

Time to bring it back again for an update...

LCB: Taft, Senior

CM: Sarcevic, White

LWB: Gordon, New Signing

Is Chicksen still an option for LB? Who binned him off? Hill or Phoenix?

I do agree with that, it was more of an overall look at midfield numbers.  I don't personally see Darcy as a Politic replacement, I dont see him as a creative spark/potential scorer.  I would think Crawford and Sarcevic are closer to the Politic role.  I am struggling to think of another player I would compare with Darcy, past or present, he's neither defensive nor "attacking" which seems an odd thing to say, but for me one of the few midfielders that does a bit of everything - not a specialist.  Which could work for or against him depending on what the manager wants, my gut feeling is it will work against him in an IE team.
