August 17, 20206 yr I’d certainly be up for giving him a chance. Not like he’s ever relied on pace and was playing two tiers above this level last season.
August 18, 20206 yr If he’s still capable of doing a job at L2 level which I imagine he will be, give him 12 months. Will also give more opportunity to let Graham go out on loan
August 18, 20206 yr He’s a superb passer of the ball, in this league his pass completion rate would be very high, experienced head as well . Id have the pikey looking cunt

August 18, 20206 yr Heard a little rumour that Bunney was not as fit as the others and wasn’t enjoying being pushed by Evatt, so no loss there then. He would have been a disaster in high back line, we need athletic wing backs.

No brainier if fit Agree with both. The wing backs will have to work hard, but we knew that anyway. Sit Adam in the middle of the park to spray the ball about and let the younger lads do the running.
August 18, 20206 yr Not sure I quite share the enthusiasm for Adam. Perhaps with a coaching role, like the keeper, maybe.
August 18, 20206 yr Can't see Adam playing a full 90 minutes especially for an energetic style that we should be playing, I'd imagine he'll be used sparingly, maybe for the last 30 minutes to add some experience and steady the ship if necessary.
August 18, 20206 yr Charlie adam could stroll through games in division 4, ffs The ball will be moved much more quickly with his passing than some fcuker pegging it around the pitch non stop Hes capable of running the game without moving

August 18, 20206 yr Charlie Adam would be such a difference. On some shit surfaces we really need that head In the middle of the park to control the game.

Plus his corners and free kicks are quality, and he'll score a few long rangers. Saying that I'm a big fan of Darcy and getting Adam for 12 months may stunt his development which is already under threat from so many new midfielders.
August 18, 20206 yr Don’t think darcy and Adam are the same player personally I think Darcy could More likely cover politic injury

I don't personally see Darcy as a Politic replacement, I dont see him as a creative spark/potential scorer. I would think Crawford and Sarcevic are closer to the Politic role. I am struggling to think of another player I would compare with Darcy, past or present, he's neither defensive nor "attacking" which seems an odd thing to say, but for me one of the few midfielders that does a bit of everything - not a specialist. Which could work for or against him depending on what the manager wants, my gut feeling is it will work against him in an IE team.
