I really can’t see Dapo making any appearances for West Ham in league games. Maybe a Championship club would take a punt on him, but he’d probably be better playing regular football for us rather than risk being a bench warmer somewhere.

could see him rocking up at somewhere like Luton

Of our loan signings, John is the one I’d like to keep the most but if not, would go all out for Jackson.

Id prefer to keep Dapo than not but if we don’t, it’s no biggie

Talking of which ... would anyone fancy Peter Kioso back ?

I would, very much, there's a really proper player in there. Needs some developing but I'd love us to be having him.

Though, if Luton don't want him it brings into stark relief the quality divide getting into the Championship.

Not arsed, Jones and Brockbank can cover that position. Think we have other areas I would strengthen first.

Not for me. There’s a bit more focus on the defensive side with our change in shape, and for me Jones knocks spots off Kioso on that front.

The thing about Dapo is L2 is as high as he's played

Not sure how he ended up at West Ham but prior this that he was National League

And we're the 3rd L2 club he's been loaned out to since

He's basically an average L2 player

Hes at least average division 3

Hes decent with the ball, he works hard and hes quick

I dont think we will do better

I don't think he will do better either

Basically, we might as well and there's no reason he shouldn't be up for it

Anyway, its going to be v interesting what happens

I can see 2 or 3 signings who we have seen this season

Morecambe have one or two for example

Therell be plenty more who can improve us

Depends what better is for him

Could just be div 3 in london

His stock will have risen and a div 2 team, luton? Might fancy him or even charlton, for example

I hope we get him, anyway

I'd be happy for Dapo to stay but not exactly unhappy if he doesn't.

Other than geography, I don't think he'll get a better offer, but I'd trust Evatt to find us something better.

I’d like to keep him. I also suspect if Evatt wants him we will.

The loan signings we made were all out of contract this summer other than Jackson I think and I suspect that was for a reason

Dapo can be so frustrating,  he clearly has ability on the ball but his end product is  almost non existent.  He always seems to make the wrong decision, shooting when he should pass or trying to continue a run when he could shoot. The concern for me with that as we have seen no real improvement over his time with us this season. Overall, at the right price, I would have him next season, but I won't lose too much sleep if he decides to move on again

I expect we'll get I a few loans in from bigger clubs.

The football we play should make us an attractive option.

He can be frustrating but I think that is overly harsh

Sometimes he makes the wrong decision and sometimes he makes the right decision but doesn't execute it perfectly. But that's the same for all of our attacking players last season. If he always got it right he'd be in West Ham's first tema now. Oh and I remember similar being said about a young C Ronaldo. Yes Dapo is 23 not 18, but he's not played 40 league games yet.

I also believe, and I've banged this drum a lot so forgive me, folk often miss his contribution of carrying the ball, taking pressure off our defence; he's also double marked a fair bit which makes space for others.

For me I'd guess he's good enough for League 1. We may see, we may not

I like it, comparing C. Ronaldo to Dapo, we are truly back. 😂

Feel like Dapo could score loads if he just gets in at the back post more often, similarly whoever plays wide right. I'd definitely take him, hopefully with some competition so we can play whoever is in form.

Context as ever Mounts, context 😄

I think dapo would do a job for us, but may well get a higher offer given the season he has had.  Temper that with he has only played league 2 tho, so not sure how high up a team might take a punt.

jackson for me would be a good signing.

He really only needs to add an out-ball to his skill set. He tends to do well at the build up but then makes the wrong decision. Every time he gets the ball he should be told, pass it to the penalty spot but the rest of the players need to play their part too. If they did their bit to get at or near that spot then Dapo would look the player we hope he could be.

Dapo is good enough for L1 without a doubt, put it this way, if he isn't playing, the opposition will be happy.

My view too.

I love how discerning we all are now we're big time.

... & coaching could just help his positioning & finishing.

Just pulling your leg. 👍

I see Wycombe have released one of their keepers Ryan Allsop aged 28 , might be worth a look.
