Shame really. Vela coming into his own in that role put paid to his chances. I'd rather we signed Henry than Ameobi though.

Wow. Sounds mental to me that. Henry was very underwhelming. Ameobi full of potential.

I only say that has Henry has a decent pedigree and CV. Sammy is 25 and has played less than 120 games.

Henry completely changed the game at Bradford and gave us a great outlet at Scunny, despite us not getting that equaliser. Take into account his last minute winner at home to Scunthorpe and I wish him all the best.

He never quite did it for us when starting. Would definitely have taken him but we're shaping up to have enough wide options already, and I don't think he did enough in the middle.

Yeah but ameobi played miles better for us last season than henry did

I'm happy to have one or the other

Can't say I'm bothered about henry, I'd almost be dissapointed if he did sign, he never lived up to promise and he's ended up back in the same league

Whereas would've been dissapointed not to get ameobi bsck as much as I was when he left at Christmas

Have a watch back through some highlights when we had Ameobi, he laid on loads of chances for Clough in particular to squander. If ALF can get the same understanding, this could really work, ALF would rattle most of them chances away

The business the club has pulled off in the last year got us promoted.

I trust them every bit of the way this summer.

Absolutely

Unless/until it goes wrong!

It really is that simple for me too.

aye, we';ve signed some that haven't worked as we would've hoped but what was done got us promoted

it might not work again, but they've earned the right not to have all n sundry questioning at every turn

I note that LoV have gone into complete and utter 'twat' mode taking digs at the club, and its players at every available opportunity.

We all would like more quality in the squad, but it is still July. Way they go on you'd think we'd just been relegated, not promoted.

Kane57 on here is one of the serial offenders on that site

he just likes playing the cnut

you can see from his posts on here that he can be reasonable

youve got to wonder why he feels the need to be such a dick on there

Because they aren't Bolton, they're just people who've attached themselves to the club, it doesn't run through their veins. Simple.

And they've fuck all better to do than play frustrated keyboard wankers...
