  • Can't make the game as overseas but have bought 4 tickets and told my brother he's going and taking his kids. No arguments. We need more kids in the ground as they are the future. Hopefully a top atm

It annoys me a bit hearing some of our fans slagging the shit out of others on twitter because we will suddenly have 6 or 7 thousand extra fans on Saturday. Doesn't matter to me one bit whether these extra fans are coming because its a fiver or because we are winning. I dont blame any of the thousands that stopped coming because we have been utter dog wank for the last 5 or 6 years. In fact Im amazed sometimes that we have kept the support we have during this time when I compare it to when I first started going in the late eighties when the crowds were arse even when we were doing well.

Of course we have lost fans for various reasons so as far as Im concerned I dont care why they come back but more super chuffed they have because Saturday could be brilliant. I doubt we would have thought that when the fixtures came out.

We can't moan that people stay away and then call them cunts when they come back.

The only thing that worries me is if we start shit, then theres a few extra thousand to start moaning and kicking off cos its not 4-0. Hopefully thats not an issue, looking forward to this game loads now, feels like the old days

Come on you super white men!

Course we can!

Course we can!

haha, fuckin glory hunting cunts

Can we still give the south stand the V sign when we score?

Bollocks I didn't think about that. Always custom to flick the V's to the south.

Happy days I didn't expect Wanderers sat in that stand for some time, more like closing the upper tiers.

Just realised a downside to the day trippers

We sit in the same seats each week but not our own seats

Its gonna be murder with folk insisting they sit where their ticket says

I bet they all leave with 10 minutes to go.

No doubt we'll have some sat down either in or round our 'seats' who also start moaning because we're stood up.

Boooooooo

Easy solution. Don't go to your seats and just get steamers on the concourse.

It'll be full of day trippers queueing for drinks that aren't available

Iles said now the number is 22k last night, including 500 from Chesterfield

Bluff them out. Tell them you've sat in these same seats for each of the last four seasons. Then ask where their seat was during that period. They'll slink away, embarrassed.

I can see a ST offer next season .....

Like Bradford style.

So what is this Bradford thing that sees them with an 18000 average home gate? Have they decided that 18,000 at £150 is better than 9000 at £300?

I think its probably more short term pain, long term gain. Get people into the habit of going regularly then slowly increase the prices. Hopefully more foot fall = spends in the shop etc too

I would be happy with a north/south stand ST deal for our fans for next season not sure what ST is there at the moment but a £9.99 a game sounds like a deal that equates to £229.77 per season and chuck in a kids ticket for £30 so its for £249.99 for dad/lad/ or daughter. No idea how that stacks up to this seasons offer but sounds a good deal to me at £10.86 per game.

Kids are already getting in for less than £2.50 a game, with adults priced at a little over 12 quid. It's not a bad do, that.

You want kids down to 1984 prices and adults in for less than a tenner.

Would it not be easier to just open the doors?

They introduced when near bottom of division 2. They have probably tripled gates since then and to be fair they have things going really well there, the atmosphere in ground is as good as anywhere in the division and at the same time the top end of the city has been improved so loads of decent bars in walking distance.

Be interesting what view the club take of tomorrows turn out, if we drop season ticket prices what it is just be people who currently pay every week buying them or people coming back, but if a bit of success and low price add 50% onto the crowd how much more will we make in the shop, hopefully our catering partners will also be happy.

If it helps fill the ground I'm all for it quite happy to pay my current season ticket price in the east lower, if we get promoted I'd hope at those prices we might get 15,000 plus season ticket holders I find the south stand being empty not only depressing but surely also commercial madness.

Bookies giving odds of 7/20 to win. Anyone know of an occasion when we've been shorter than that in a league game?

4 purchased in the south stand. Been a while since i've been in there!

Eleven years and counting...
