Zico Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I meant the Championship play offs, but aye, all that. And the Premier League loan market. Seems to recall KA pretty much the saying the loan market will be very important for us next season so don't expect too many long term deals If we do go up can't see the likes of alf and spearing and whoever else says they want to stay getting offered more than 12 months Quote

For what it's worth, I put him in the same bracket as Wheater, and I think he'll be here next season. I'll also be quite interested to see what happens with Mark Davies... Quote
MalcolmW Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Parky did state earlier in the season about a few players he thought could do the business in the championship 1 being Morris at Scunny. Morris - ex Blackburn academy, played plenty games on loan for Fleetwood. Signed for PP at Bradford City, but joined Scunny on a free in June 1916. Quote
MalcolmW Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I'll also be quite interested to see what happens with Mark Davies... Retirement. Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Retirement. I think he might get a short-term deal on next to nothing. Quote
gonzo Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I think he might get a short-term deal on next to nothing. Be like a new signing. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I think he might get a short-term deal on next to nothing. No chance. Too many injuries for a start Quote
Rizlar Posted April 25, 2017 Author Posted April 25, 2017 No chance. Too many injuries for a start Totally agree get rid. Quote

Spearing is here because we pay him a lot. Surely you don't think any other reason ? That's not a slant on him either What will be interesting about Mark Davies? Edited April 25, 2017 by tomski Quote

The Wanderer Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Morris - ex Blackburn academy, played plenty games on loan for Fleetwood. Signed for PP at Bradford City, but joined Scunny on a free in June 1916. And he's still playing? Well done that man. Quote
MancWanderer Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I actually think that Spearing would stay. Nobody's really been in for him and he always seems to be happy with us Davies - isn't his contract up this year? Quote

That's not a slant on him either What will be interesting about Mark Davies? Davies could be similar to Wheater Is another club going to take a punt on him with his injury record? He'll have to be more realistic regards his wage demands than when he got knocked back by sheff weds Could quite easily end up back here on a reduced wage like Wheater, and then stay injury free and be a key player, like Wheater Or he could just leave and go elsewhere which would be boring Quote

As you said, can't see anyone else taking him. Davies - isn't his contract up this year? Yes it is. Quote
BWFC_LOVE Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I feel like both Wheater and Spearing have an affinity to the club. Certainly Wheater; I think he's signed two contracts since we went down and I've no doubt he took a paycut on both occasions. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 We need some midfielders who can pass Quote

darrener Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Wheater is a legend!! Absolutely love the guy Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Spearing will be off given half a chance , think we can do better tbh with his m.o there are plenty out there & some of them can pass & move. Quote

bwfc87 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Can't bring myself to tempt fate, so wherever we are next season, would really like to see Andy Taylor stay. Quote
Sweep Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 We need to get rid of alot of shit We do, we could easily change over 50% of the squad. It's going to be a busy summer Quote
tomski Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Let's get over the line first. But I hope we are ruthless for a change this summer. Not many I'd be keeping Quote
