TM slashes police numbers and then has the audacity to say there is no link to knife crime which has increased off the scale. Meanwhile Bojo is wasting money on water cannons but it's all Sadiq Khan's fault. Ok😨 Another boss eyed reply from you. Despite Johnson wasting money on water cannons, check out the crime rates particularly knife crime under his mayorship......go on lad, you know you want to...... Homicide rates were lower in 2018 than the 90s in London I think. Also this is Boris Johnson who as mayor of London during the London riots blamed the government for a lack of police numbers yes? kent_white
Just reading that we're likely to need to borrow £80 billion to pay for services in the event of a no deal brexit. Imagine imposing austerity for the best part of a decade, causing enough malcontent that the country votes to leave the EU and then having to borrow ridiculous sums of money to balance the books undoing all the 'good work' you've done over the past 10 years. What a fucking shambles!

The reality is that the Mayor of London is mostly a ceremonial post and blaming them for crime patterns is moronic.

You should check when, in an interview with LBC, he accepted responsibility as the Police and Crime Commissioner for the city. Is that bit easy to understand ? darwen_white
So, the Mayor of London role is ceremonial - depending on who is incumbent, it seems 😑 Nearly as ridiculous as socialists arguing to stay in the EU from a financial/ business perspective.
