I'd not heard of this GB News until yesterday.....it does look well timed.

I've just had a quick read up and they're promising to be an "anti woke" channel. Those already signed up as presenters are Andrew Neil, Michelle Dewberry, Dan Wooton (former editor of The Sun) and Alexandra Phillips (UKIP & Brexit Party bod)  -  I'm sure they couldn't get anymore Gammony if they tried, unless of course there are actually going to be some more "left leaning" presenters that just haven't been announced yet, as this is an ideal way to cause a bit of a stir before launch.

I'd be surprised if Morgan doesn't rock up there, and equally surprised if Farage isn't a regular contributor.......maybe even Katie Hopkins, unless even she is deemed as too toxic these days

As a news outlet, it'll do quite well I reckon - a bit like Fox News does, being opinion led, rather than fact led

McAndrews has been planning a UK Fox News for a while - everyone knows what yesterday was about with Morgan - and the build up to it. They leveraged the Megan interview perfectly, hence the number of tweets in the build up.

Hopkins is a lost soul, this has old school media heavyweights.

There are hundreds of truth stretching statements weekly in the place; bloody frustrating at times and doesn't become any of them.

whether she goes or not there has a been a massive amount of damage to her reputation and to the SNP. This is solely about them and their own actions.

They won't come out against her before any ruling is made, but if she survives with the help of the greens etc, but appears weakened by events, then the knives may come out.
