For those without X

BBC: "Is today's speech an admission of your popularity failure, and Nigel Farage is soaring?"
Sky News: "Are you running scared of Reform?"

LBC: "Why are you holding a press conference about Nigel Farage four years from an election?"

GB News: "Are you panicking? Is Farage rent-free in your head?"

ITV: "Do you view Nigel Farage as your main opponent?"

I posted the right wing Guardian question earlier.Ā

I’ve been busy to be honest. First time I’ve come on here for a few days and read much.

I’ll have a look if I can be arsed but I suspect I know the answer

She was on Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday morning. She's not in the news because she spoke sense.

Given all the criticism she used to get before labour won, now they are actually in power and facing lots of criticism I thought she'd be getting it from all angles

The penny has dropped on how thick she is. Being kept far from the limelight.

I'd be hugely surprised if that was the actual outcome of the next GE.Ā

Do we know what question was being asked?Ā

I genuinely worry for the future of the country if that's in any way an accurate reflection.Ā

Imagine wanking over a Darren Grimes tweet for the next 4 years.

It’s based loosely, on this poll. Where the seat projection comes from, I’m not sure.Ā

A tweet from Crafty Wank himself.

At the minute the Tories are dead as a political force with the majority of the right leaning voters seemingly going to Reform.

Labour has to decide between courting those who've swung to Reform or winning back those who've swung to Lib Dem/Greens/PC/SNP. Don't envy Starmer in his cause.

Like I said. I'd be absolutely amazed if that result was the same on polling day. But it does seem like Reform have a groundswell of support - even if they are really only a single issue party.Ā

That's democracy for you I guess!

I’m guessing you posted this without looking at the poll above. Labour 21% -1 Tories 2 behind up 3% If you think the Tories are dead, Labour are having the last rites read over them. Don’t shoot the messenger.Ā

I think the current tactic is to portray Farage as the defacto opposition and present the next election as a contest between the Labour Party and the far right in the hope it persuades as many LD/Green/PC/SNP voters as possible

Not sure Labour can win another election on 'better option than the other guys' they've pissed off just as many people on the left as on the right. The Labour stance on Gaza, trans rights and disability benefit cuts especially.

I'd say things like their stance on Gaza and trans rights is really only vote swayers for those of a Corbyn hue and it's such a small percentage of the electorate rather than holding the middle ground, which they should do. Reform, whilst possibly showing a move away from two party politics is still more of an issue for the Conservatives who are sort of performing a Reformlite routine which speaks to no one.
