I love how you say 'simple questions' and then pose two questions you could write a thesis on.

Ok then, I'll ask the first one first...

What follows a global financial crisis ?

Quite obvious isn't it ?

Night follows day etc.

Who gives a toss, get some more pictures of Souness' filthbag stepdaughter up...

I still don't get it. Are you talking about a return to the mean? Or Austerity? Or tighter regulation of financial institutions? Or recession? It could be any one of a hundred things.

Who gives a toss, get some more pictures of Souness' filthbag stepdaughter up...

Is the right answer.

The thing is; the EU is protectionist!

And so are the USA and Japan but Brexiteers seem to be assuming that they will suddenly open up theirs borders to British companies as soon as we leave the EU.

And remainers perceive the EU as a free trade zone

As I say, read Roger Bootle and the Free Trade Economists

To save other folk reading that a right wing Pro-Brexit group believe that we will be better off out of the EU.

Is it not an established fact that anything published by "pro-Brexit" groups is 100% fact, and anything published by "pro-Remain" groups is all just part of Project Fear?

Exactamente

There aren't many facts about the future, really

Estimates, projections, guesstimates, guesses, hypotheses, speculations.

There will be opportunities to be taken, which is a fact.

As a rule of thumb, I always find it useful to listen to the likes of Tony Blair and Peter Mandelsohn and then be clear that the exact opposite course of action is right.

I see that smarmy little fucker Macron is being difficult. Seeking as much as he can screw out of us as though his agricultural sector has not already scooped the pot.

The little twat should stump up reparations for what it cost us to rescue them from the heel of the German jackboot in the 1940's. We could then give a quarter of that to the EU and everyone would be happy - apart from the surrender monkeys of course.

Is he not doing what you'd like TM to do for us? Pushing the best deal for his country!

No. He's a scrawny little granny shagger who is happy to ride on the coat tails of the former occupiers of France for financial gain.

TM is endeavouring to set up an independent Britain and that is what he really hates. They don't have the courage to strike out on their own themselves and despise the fact that the UK can and will.

Fair enough. I just fail to see why anyone would think the Europeans are going to roll over for us?

I thought macron (I thank him for our comfy bwfc shorts by the way) was more diplomatic when it comes to brexit? I'm not up to date with current going ons admittedly

Is it not time to stop harping back to WW2 when we're talking about the EU? - it might just be me, but it does sound a bit Dads Army.

Too right

Great WW T shirt, though

Bolty lives in the 1970s though, so WW2 wasn't actually that long ago for him.

Stupid boy.

Don't forget the Napoleonic wars as well you silly old twat.

Let's hope whatever cash pot the EU ask for from the UK is properly scrutinised line by line and put into the public domain then we will see how fair the EU is and how fair we are being. I'm happy for us to pay a fair and equitable settlement and not 1 penny more. Regarding Macron he's an irrelevant side show who thinks he's got some power but the truth is he's a little man with little political power as is the norm for French leaders or should we say poodles.

To be fair I'd be happy to pay a fair and equitable payment - plus the extra 1p as a gesture of goodwill! :-)

Fuck the extra 1p they've had enough out of our pockets.

I'll bet that doesn't happen. No way will this government let us see that much detail.

They should, but they won't, as we'll end up paying more than we should to keep them "on side"
