Think you've misread the image Bolty.

Not the first time you've been fooled by the writing on the side of that bus

Edit: (Ah, I see you've editted your comment to disguise your idiocy. "Game, set, match" indeed)

Operation Fear.

Yes, the fear is they've underestimated the bill.

Unless, out of shot, there's another 10 buses with the same writing on.

Given Mounts has not responded to the specific question.

Did anyone who voted to Leave think there would be a £40bn divorce bill ?

According to mounts £40b is just an olive branch so it doesn't count but that is approximately half the cost of running the NHS in England for a whole year or the equivalent to a 9p in the £ tax reduction (albeit a one off) and we don't need to pay it but some wanted to take back control but what a cost

We need to call their bluff.

Be prepared to fuck off and go it alone. Britain has always been great and the rest of the world outside of the EU is our oyster.

Cocky continentals attempting to punish us? They have much to lose too which the appeasers seem to forget.

Question, will imported goods become cheaper or dearer once we've left the EU?

Britain has always been great and the rest of the world outside of the EU is our oyster.

Partly because we had an empire. That's long gone. The reality is we've chosen to become a smaller and less relevant fish in a bigger global pond.

And whether we have a Britain in any real sense 20 odd years down the line is also open to debate. I can see an England hemmed in on all sides by an EU over which we have no control.

Personally speaking I’d prefer we did not pay them anything other than the liabilities we have committed to. Sadly the election weakened the UK government and left us at the mercy of remainers so we have stupidly reaped what we have sown.

Add in the £3bn we are spending in leaving we are up to a cost of £43bn.

This before the subjective costs such as trade impact

I’m not sure what the final bill will be but whatever it is the blame lies in the government for running a terrible election campaign and the idiots who voted for Jeremy because he was pledging to wipe their arse. Whatever it costs write it off over 50 years I just want out!!

So the blame is with the electorate idiots ?

Suppose that is a problem if you let idiots vote on big decisions

Only idiots who vote the wrong way. Luckily we have just enough folk who are not idiots and voted the right way. ????

Edit: I see that you have just edited your post to add some words to the sentence above. Probably because you realise just how foolish the above statement you made is. But let’s not be fooled, what you originally posted is what you genuinely believe.

But you don’t care about the cost, as you’ll be retiring to the Costa Blanca soon and leaving the rest of us to deal with the situation.

the idiots who voted for Jeremy

If in doubt - blame Jeremy.

It's much easier than taking responsibility for your own actions.

It would be quite nice to know what our liabilities are, and for how long. Stuff that we will still benefit from in years to come.

As for the rest, don't really understand all the arguments. When all is agreed and Parliament picks over it, we can make a more informed judgement.

What do you think the result of a referendum would be now?

0-0 draw. Match abandoned due to lack of interest.

Yes.

Think it would be pretty much the same, however were not one of the other shit house countries whos arse went and had another referendum after  the EU used bully boy tactics to keep them in, were leaving fuck them. :blum:

Actually - just tell me which way you're voting. I'll do the opposite then I know I'm on the right side. :)
