Mp in galgate yesterday was hoping a large housing scheme in the area would be scrapped to help prevent future flooding issues.

 

If a touch of nationalism slows down the rate of population increase and eases the demand for housing then that's fine by me.

Anyway, as of earlier this week, I've given up worrying about it, as I honestly don't think we'll be leaving once it actually comes down to it

Not read that article in full; watching F1 qualifying, but the first bit talks about imports etc.

I'm not entirely happy about putting limits on stuff, (providing it meets requisite standards), but I would prefer a drive towards buying British.

Not sure how importing lamb all the way from New Zealand is benefitting the environment, let alone British farmers.

I am all for buying British but the plan to have far reaching and liberating trade deals is about reaching a consensus on a number of areas. By the tone of the article we wont have any trade deals with Australia, NZ, US, Canada and Brazil to mention just a few. TM and DD better start thinking of our BATNA

By the tone of the article we wont have any trade deals with Australia, NZ, US, Canada and Brazil to mention just a few. TM and DD better start thinking of our BATNA

It’s just an opening gambit by these countries to get bigger quotas into the EU and UK non story really it will all get sorted.
