I think Parky gets until January by then hopefully we’ve turned it round and got a cushion from the bottom 3.

IF Ken thinks the squad is better than it is showing and that a managerial change improves things then you don't wait till January.
IF he doesn't then you just stick as is and hope for the best.

I don't know what Ken thinks because he changes his mind every week (at least based on his statements) but I suspect he is in a tough situation now. Sack him and things don't improve then everyone moans at Ken for not investing in the team. Stick with him and things don't improve then everyone moans at Ken for not sacking the manager. Thus far Parky has protected Ken from the brunt of criticism as he's not moaned about the financial situation really. He's never come out and criticised the running of the club. The first public critique was in the BN today - saying Ken's comments weren't helpful. A new manager is a risk because unless Ken appoints his mate (think Mike Ashley and Pardew) he won't guarantee that things stay quiet and behind closed doors as easily. Plenty of loudmouth managers prepared to sound off these days.

Don’t know what’s worse, reading about our on or off field problems. Both a bigger joke than each other

just a week, a mere 7 days where we’ve played ok, got a positive result and Ken hasn’t come out ballooning would do me right now.

because all this is getting ridiculous

also interesting was that PP said, regards the formation at the weekend, they'd tried it during pre-season and re-visited it on Friday in training

so it wasn't something the players were used to (which you could tell), and it looks like something PP felt he had to do, in light of KAs comments

think there needs to be a massive bonding session / piss up during the international break - KA should take them all to Monte Carlo, all expenses paid or something

They played it a week ago at Rotherham.....

Cracks are appearing. Whether ken meant his comments as a pop at Parky or not, they were going to be interpreted that way.

Can’t see this ending well. Could PP be angling for the Reading job should Clements get sacked.

Think the quote was "we worked on it during the international break before Rotherhem then revisited it on Friday".

Can’t see this ending well. Could PP be angling for the Reading job?  Also feeling a seed change with regards Ken from our fans. The clock is ticking on the Anderson’s time in charge.

If he is, then lots of our "fans" will be happy.

He will go when he's ready

I doubt fans won't sway him

You only need to look at Blackpool and Hull as examples of owners going nowhere

Aye

My Blackpool supporting mate was far from happy!

Maybe, or just trying to defend himself. Which is fair enough.

Not sure where Ken's going at the moment, with his approach. Back him or sack him, end the uncertainty one way or another.

Unless he's trying to get PP to walk!

( edit ) not worth the mither

Is there not a " crack " option  ?

Ken , wants more in the stadium.

Ken   wants attractive football.

Phil wants at least a point every match and sets up to achieve this.

Embankment realises without quality on the pitch or a massive change in mind set .None of the above will happen.

Most pay on the day fans know with the current mindset of the coaching staff, they  are not going to see an attacking display.

So they do not turn up.

But i have already shelled out the best part of £100 , for 2 London trips before xmas.

Who's stupid me or the stay away ??

And i havent got a clue who would come to manage the club if Phil and his team got shown the door.

Blackpool found a club on same level to spar with. :)

No thanks.

Be a massive downgrade for us. No thanks.

Just a thought what if Clement gets sacked then Reading ask to speak to Parky and KA agrees and allows Parky to go for a fee then KA doesn't have to pay anything to change manager etc.
