Moderators Carlos Posted June 15, 2018 Moderators Share Posted June 15, 2018 He’s unelectable, even for a Tory. He’s got more chance of being the first man on Mars than running the country.

frank_spencer
Does that include any Muslim politician? I’m not a fan of Mogg but I respect his religious views, as I do all people of faith. He can be a Christian til the cows come home but when he uses his faith as a reason to be against the laws of this country then is he the kind of person we want in charge. If a Muslim, Hindu or even a Jedi said he thought rape victims shouldn't be able to have an abortion I'd tell them to get fucked too. If he is against abortion it's because he is against not what Jesus tells him.

The Muslim view towards abortion is pretty much the same if not more conservative than Catholicism.

gonzo
The tories have barely scraped enough votes for hung parliament over the past decade. If they put him in for a general election they’ll lose by a landslide.

Considering this is probably the worst Conservative Government in my lifetime, it tells you a lot about the opposition. A change in leadership, on either side, will determine the next election. IMO. Sweep
I agree Boby. The thing is I can't see who Conservatives have who is better than the current useless incumbent. But with Keir Starmer or Chuka Umunna leading Labour, they would have a great chance.
