August 10, 20188 yr It's a shame but it was obviously being abused I presume the idea was to get kids into watching us, not to give pisscans a free ride Either way, filling however many seats at 6 quid ain't a long term proposition
August 10, 20188 yr It was set up to give something to community groups wasn’t it? But now we’re hardly in a position to be taking £5-6 per ticket. I used it to test lad out at first and it worked

August 10, 20188 yr Toed the line, in other words. He works with Ken. He isn’t one to throw his toys out the pram. I think he knows what we are and what Ken is and is prepared to get on with it. I like that about him. Unlike some managers who skulk off if they don’t get millions when they demand it.

August 11, 20188 yr Came in 1989 I think. Brought 4000 for promotion party. Think there was about 3/4 stabbings. Mental day. Fans charging each other up and down manny road. We won 1-0 greeny if memory serves me right. Heard funny story from freight rover final against them as well! Bob Taylor had a fitness test on the pitch before the game, with a heavily strapped thigh. I knew who he was because teletext said he was top of the scoring charts in Division 3.
