The Poles struggling with RB. Shame because he had such a promising start - i get the feeling he’s not enjoying his time here very much, pretty much like Magennis.

I think the pole might be better as a marauding wing back. Saying that he’s had a decent first season.

Really? I thought his first 6 or 7 games were very impressive, but since then Parky seems to have turned him into a bit of a liability who makes huge gaffes.

Huge gaffes? I’m not sure that’s an accurate comment. Although I agree his levels dropped since first 8-10 games.

Perhaps huge gaffes was the wrong choice of words, but he makes some baffling choices with his distribution and has been torn apart a few times recently, most of our oppositions attacking joy seems be down his side.

Wigan will spend in Jan, and heard a rumour of Madine on loan to them too.

If Doidge as any chance of doing anything he has to keep starting, fact that PP has just come out and said he needs a striker in Jan, must be a reet confidence boost for current 3 forwards.

Great 3 points, hope we can get something against Stoke.

I would love Madine to go to Wigan, it would confirm them as relegation candidates.

You talk some utter tripe really. How on earth would it do that?

Im no madine fan but which of our current striking options is delivering more than he did ?

Not sure what our strikers have to do with it? Wigan have Powell, Windass, Grigg, Vaughan, Garner. I'd take at least 4 of those over Madine, so my thinking is they are weakened if they sign him, just like Cardiff and us were.

So my thoughts are we are in a relegation battle? If someone else in or around that battle signs a player more effective than which we have , does this not disadvantage us?

By adding to a squad weakens them in your arguement which helps us?

And we were weakened by madine? Did he keep someone better out the team or again am I missing how precisely he weakened us?

Magennis fits into our style of play and should start IMO. Doidge runs about but rarely finds space or holds it up. He may come good but at the moment looks like a luxury we can't afford.

Magennis couldn’t trap a bag of cement

You're probably right, so play it in front of him to chase or pump it into the box in the air and stand him in front of the centre half’s hoping for him to create havoc and someone pick up the second ball, it’s not pretty but play to his strengths.

Why isn't little getting a go. Since Polish Pav has been off the boil, I've thought it's the only position we are well stocked? I still can't believe he played Lowe at right back unless I'm missing something?

Started after his sending off at QPR

It’s what Parkinson does though

What you might've missed was the forest game

Times two, in fact

Check out his efforts v them in the staying up game

Anyway, unfair to judge him on one game this season when he was chucked in cold

And after he does it they move on to better things?

Well no, they don't

As they're generally not very good

The good ones get sold

The rest move down the leagues

He was thrown in and after his mysterious disappearance. While he was suspect at times he also looked very good against forest.

He was also our best player by a mile at Leeds in cup this year and was rightly dropped on pavs early form but should be in now in my opinion.

Fair enough

Maybe it's because he's second choice to the pole and Lowe and even vela can go there in case of in game injury so no need for him on the bench when we are struggling to find room for all our attacking options :)

Thing about Magennis is that he got 4 in 7 when he started the first 7 games, and he nearly got another against boxing day similar to the one he got v QPR

So he's shown he can get goals for us

Doidge looks like he might score but I don't think we create enough in the final third consistently enough for him to flourish

Id still play both of them before Donaldson
