From what I've read in your posts in the past you appear to have been around on planet earth and BWFC about the same length of time as me, possibly a little bit longer, seeing and experiencing all the shit that has gone on in the past. In the main, I tend to pretty much agree with you on everything. On this, however, no

To me, it's not an open forum at all. You have to email your question in advance. That, in my opinion is not an open forum, That is a vetted forum. I may be all tin foil hat here, searching for a conspiracy theory, but, to me, it stinks of bullshit, Absolutely reeks of it. A truly open forum would say, for example, that there's 300 seats, and the first 300 in the queue can attend and ask any question that they like

I perhaps agree with you that McGinlay's past business dealings have no relevance. But similarly, neither has his opinion. What does he offer?

I will never fall out with a true white on an internet forum. I will fall out with WUMs. I will simply agree to disagree with you on all this and make no comment about you or hold no opinion of you. We all want the same at the end of the day

That’s a fair assessment and makes a change from some of the angst on here. I agree that, as an ex footballer, his opinion shouldn’t have any more value than anyone else. He is close to the club though. As are the other people at the forum.

I know lots of people at the club and associated with the club. Apart from the Andersons and Paul Aldridge, I don’t think they could find anyone who was pro Ken so I guess they will have to go with what they have.

I’m not sure how the questions will be handled but I would hope that it would be fair.

We could always put out the advice to take your own beer if you fancy a drink. The staff at Victoria Hall are all very much old-school Methodists. (At least they pretend to be)

I was appearing in a show there and at half time we nipped over the car park for a beer in the Blue Boar. The woman on the door wasn't for letting us back in when we got back to close the second half. It was only when we pointed out that we were one of the acts she reluctantly changed her mind.

I didn't realise the Chippendales were still going? :)

Do you know how many people have been made redundant on Anderson's watch?

Is it loads?

As a complete aside, does anyone remember TR85 (trotters revival 1985). The main men i think were andy staveley and steve rothwell, i still spot Mr Staveley at home matches but does anyone know the whereabouts of Steve Rothwell? He was very passionate in those days and had some involvement in the Wanderers Worldwide fanzine.

Oh aye, there from the beginning in the balmoral

I think Rothwell had a falling out with the club

He had Neil berry lodging with him at one point

Rothwell sorted travel

From memory, founders were Andy and Barry nightingale, brother of Clive

Barry is on Twitter and might even be one of the trust's high net worths

How many are going to the FGR Bury match?

In total : not many

Disillusioned Bolton fans : none. All piss and wind, once they realised they'd still have to spend at least £35 to protest about a club they begrudge giving £25 or even less to.

McGinlay who backed Coyle til the very end

He was his assistant or coach at Wigan wasn't he? How did that work out.

McGinlay's views on football and running a business are an irrelevance. He was a good footballer in lower leagues in the 90's. That is it. His time has well and truly been and gone. I've heard him speak recently and I think he's not the brightest bulb in the box.

I don't care about his ability to run his businesses and I don't care what he thinks about Ken, Parky, Brexit or whether red top or green top milk is the best one - I associate the man with some of my favourite BWFC memories and so I'll always hold him in very high esteem.

For what he did. But that isn't relevant to giving him a platform to talk about how a business should be run. Or a team, for that matter. Given his track record in actually doing those things is dire.

Chief scout rather than on the coaching staff as such.

I totally get the local media outlets wanting to do something on this situation - that’s very usual and understandable.

But come on, how is a forum with questions to ask, when there’s nobody that will add any value or new info, going to do anything except further stoke up ill feeling towards KA? There will be no “learns”, it’ll be like one of those in the Simpsons before the townsfolk get the pitchforks out.

How is that helpful?

i can’t see anything but a kangaroo court, especially seeing as all 3 have nailed their colours to the mast....

You may as well get Bojo, Rees-Mogg and Bolty discussing the virtues of socialism FFS

Yep - that is my problem with it. I'm no longer supportive of Ken. He's the only show in town - true enough - but its clear to me that he's not being honest in many ways and my suspicion is his inability to sell is leading us down a path without a pretty ending. I'm not saying that is necessarily his fault - more that continuing to play hardball whilst slagging off those who haven't been paid via the official website is doing nobody any good. And certainly not the fans.

However, the concept of a fans' forum without Ken or a representative there is a nonsense. Worse still it doesn't include anyone with specialist knowledge or insight.

Might as well have invited Kevin Davies' missus along. She seems to have an opinion on everything without any particular skill or insight.....

Emma can't make it, it's a school night.

Think of the kids, will you?
