Mantra Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Should rename this thread to: ”Ken Anderson, a conman and a leech or saviour and savvy businessman. Discuss.”
radcliffe white Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Let’s be honest he ain’t done all that wrong other clubs will follow soon

Which is why it wouldn’t surprise me if H’s men accepted the 2 million because if they don’t, Ken will probably come up with another excuse anyway. I’m sure H first said that Ken was challenging the legitimacy of the recall based on the fact that the owner of the debt had changed. it then changed to the address being wrong/Ken hadn’t seen the letter on the day that it was delivered to BWFC. could be that Ken rekindles the claim that the ownership of the debt changing renders the share recall agreement null and void. Howard said KA won't get another injunction the other day. Not sure if that covers what you are suggesting. However, accepting the 14 days from the date of his choosing seems to imply he accepts the terms. Not sure a judge would back him if he tried to contest either.

He stepped in 3 years ago, yes, but we are now in a much worse position both on and off the field and the last 12 months antics and behaviour are unforgivable. You keep defending him though, Clint!! Cant believe i didnt see this one
Horwich Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Who's Michael James in bed with? Its looking like him for me.
Mounts Kipper Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 I can see Bassini failing with his bid after DD, that leaves Ken staring at doing deal with Howard’s group or possibly just liquidating the club and selling the club in liquidation. Unless there’s other options open to Ken, anyone?

Because nobody knows the ins and outs 100%, take that clown at FGR he played a blinder and the bedsheet brigade led by mcginlay jumped all over it our finances were spiralling out of control when coyle was signing silly contracts ok staff being payed late isn’t good but that’s life happens every week in workplaces

Unless there’s other options open to Ken, anyone? Can Ken just liquidate Bolton off his own back without HMRC winding him up? I take it he can do whatever he likes since he’s the owner. If so and liquidation gets him most money then why not just do it already? something is going on here for me, and whilst Ken is a gambler I can’t see him letting it get to the 9th/10th April when his shares are recalled he must have a plan to sort it before then. Maybe I’m overestimating him though.

I look at this way , you are selling your house, one offer is less then you are asking but the are already approved for a mortgage , the other will give you what you are asking but don't have a mortgage in place yet, do you go with one or do you gave number 2 time to sort one out, if the don't you take number ones offer, that is what Ken is doing. We may not like it but you don't get rich by leaving money on the table
Big Johnny Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Howard do you think your team have any chance of taking over on Tuesday

Fortunately it’s very simple: On the 10th KA is legally required to the sign the letter transferring the shares. That action simultaneously causes us to place ICI in to administration (funded by us). ICI has the following assets- £5M owed to it by BWFC ICI has the following creditors- BWFC £13.3M Moonshift £3M Therefore KA receives nothing other than a demand for £8.3M. That £8.3M is used partly to pay off the additional debt stemming from the factoring (if recovered).
