  • Don’t think ever felt as proud to be a Bolton fan. 2 kids, the wife, peteski and my old man kicking and heading every ball at the end like it was the World Cup final.  We are in it together

  • Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.

How's the shed Mick?

Coming along nicely, ta.

Cracking result for the kids.

Unless I'm mistaken, they are mostly spooners kids

Anyway, two things

Zouma is a freak and immediately catches the eye so stood out big time last week

But quietly pulling alongside him, edwards...what a game he had today

The other, choose to miss a game and that's the risk you take

Missing one of the legendary ones

That will be spoken of in the same breath as hull and Darlington

A home draw v coventry and im fighting back tears at full time

Unbelievable

BWFC will not die

Agreed  both centre halves were outstanding.

Reading posts on here, christ this club means so much to so many of us.

Classy as ever from these Coventry fans. Not our fault they couldn't beat a team full of youngsters.

The use of the word 'liquefied' shook me to the core. Sounds so much more serious than liquidated.

FFS when is a 0-0 a superb result?

Well, the answer is today

Amazing, from basically a bunch of kids just out of school

They deserve every bit of credit that comes their way

Only worry for me is that we are picking up injuries as mentioned above. Although it's fantastic to see these kids playing and running their hearts out for the shirt and the badge, they aren't yet fit enough or strong enough to be playing regularly at this level. For that reason I'll give Parky the benefit of the doubt if he dusts off the bingo machine and regularly rotates the squad so that these youngsters can have a break every now and again

Part of me has accepted that we will go down this season but if we can give enough of these lads game time and get them playing for the shirt then we could have a great squad ready for next season

Ladies and gentlemen. THAT is why I go to the football. Not for millionaires of watching the glory teams. For THAT - guts, passion, determination and 11 young lads living the dream. Honestly was holding back tears at the full time whistle.

And anybody who was there today - you were fucking brilliant. Didn't hear one negative comment - one whinge or one bit of bullshit. Absolute 100% rock solid backing. Thank you!

Fucking love Bolton me! :)

Well, that was emotional.

Well that was fucking fantastic

Players,staff and fans unbelievable

Never did I expect I would get so emotional over a game of football

When there right back and then there keeper had a bit of a go at one of are kids I could of ripped there fucking heads off

Absolutely proud as fuck to be a wanderer

And Parky telling Bassini to basically fuck off on GMR! :)

Brilliant performance. Proud of those lads. Zouma was excellent.

The keeper has to get the MOTM though. Didn't fumble anything and made some great saves.

Yer bugger! I'd only just got the lump out of mi throat from full time. It's back now after reading that.

Another amazing day.  I'll be buzzing all weekend now!

Well, really enjoyed today's great performance , pre-match , match and post-match. They couldn't have given any more and got what they deserved. A big thanks to all BWFC staff but particularly David Lee. Roll on Tuesday.

Listening to GMR to Bolton fans ringing in, bottom lips wobbling and got something irritating the corner of my eyes.

Had that my throat is going to explode feeling that u usually get at funerals, when the players did there lad of honour. I could of easily bawled my eyes out. So proud of them all today. It felt like the players were my children. Magnificent and I hope he keeps as many as possible in for next game. One of my favourite games ever at uni.

Politic too. Looks a right handful.

My lad mentioned Edwards to me during the game and said he was his MoM with how many blocks he'd  made and times he'd thrown his body in.

Had a good view of all their second half decisions and like MickyD said I thought the officials got them all right, the delay with the first half one was weird though.

Caught the end of PP on GMR and he told Bassini to fuck off amd everyone else to sort themselves out.

Consider myself a shit fan and I welled up on quite a few occasions so glad there were other grown men in the same situation.

Not heard the GMR stuff

Any techno bods on here that can post a link to hear it?

Was much better when he moved central

Pride.

something about one of the players ( Lockett) coming over to near where I was sat to hug some members of his  ( presumably) family who were all sat in the ESL, the pride on those people’s faces captured what today was , never seen the like at a professional match and he looked bursting with it and also knackered.

normal people following their team that a young relation put every ounce of his effort into playing for with pride. Bet they’ll take a while to come back down

Will live long n the memory

Absolutely outstanding effort.

On most occasions, the squad numbers of a team when added together is around half the aggregate age.

Today, the aggregate of the squad numbers was about two and a half times the aggregate of the ages!

As the second half wore on, nerves were shredded. Don't think I've ever cared about not losing so much: not for me but for those lads who gave everything. What a boost that is for them.

Dunno about anyone else, but I'm exhausted just watching, adrenaline off the scale. Also completely hoarse.

Wasn't overly looking forward to it, fearing a thrashing and shattered kids. Instead absolutely buzzing and emotional.

The defence really is a decent unit and politic and Darcy impressive, although they all deserve the highest praise.

Great atmosphere from a small crowd; imagine what we could achieve with this positive mentality.

Fucking loved it.

Kids became men during those 90 minutes.

First time he’s shown some passion, well said parkinson

Some real potential in there.

Wouldn't mind if we just stick with them and watch them grow.

I don’t even know their names

Noticed that. More in the game.

I wonder how many times he'll envisage that shot over the keeper dropping in, before he manages to get to sleep later.

That would have been ecstasy.

If thats true and pp has grown a set then respect to him

BSA would have kicked Bassini ‘s ass from here to timbuctoo(after he’d had his kick back of course) 🙄

Re David Lee

i met his wife on a flight  4/5 years ago ,she is a stewardess and a lovely lady and fully supports her husband but knew the club were taking the ‘mmmnngh’

i hope he finally gets recognition for his total dedication

top man
