  • Don’t think ever felt as proud to be a Bolton fan. 2 kids, the wife, peteski and my old man kicking and heading every ball at the end like it was the World Cup final.  We are in it together

  • Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.

Pride.

something about one of the players ( Lockett) coming over to near where I was sat to hug some members of his  ( presumably) family who were all sat in the ESL, the pride on those people’s faces captured what today was , never seen the like at a professional match and he looked bursting with it and also knackered.

normal people following their team that a young relation put every ounce of his effort into playing for with pride. Bet they’ll take a while to come back down

Will live long n the memory

He only left secondary school in July. I believe our goalkeeper is just a year older as well. Yet they stood up for us when it mattered, and ensured that the best part of eight thousand people sat watching will forever owe them a debt of gratitude.

Outstanding, all of them.

Result of the day !!!

Team of the day !!!

last time I felt like this was the Forest game.

This is why we do it !!!

week in week out !!

season in season out !!!

its in our blood , BWFC !!!

Coventry fans started off quite unified with the rest of us but I guess they were fancying to win by a few as they were quite ratty by the end, much like their team.

Fucking hell, i'll have to have a word with er indoors cos it must be dusty in here I seem to have summat in my eye again.

I wasn't impressed with the Coventry players after they thought they had scored their first goal, they celebrated right in front of us in the WSL like they had won a cup or something, just showed a lack of class especially when they were just playing a team of kids, wankers!

Today was the hard core

Aye, weeping or choking back tears. Hard but emotional core maybe?

No.

They are professional footballers doing their job. The fact they were taking so seriously adds to what the kids did.

Aye

I still like the guy behind us about their keeper "hitting a bloody kid, you bastard!"

"That's child abuse" was my favourite

Correct

Year above Marple White’s lad at school and BWFC.

The Marple Whites are growing :D

Fair dos to everybody at Coventry who either helped us out or gave us moral support, you're a credit to football.

Second game of the season, a goalless draw at home to Coventry, yet I'm grinning as though we've just won the FA Cup. Mental.

Became the panto villain for the latter part of the game but noticed he sought out Alexander at the end and gave him a good pat on the back.

Just out  in Spain on holiday.

absolutely buzzing with today

proud as fuck

keep the white flag flying high

Watching in Spain, me and my lad at the end jumping up and down hugging each other, fantastic!!

What an afternoon. Will live long in the memory, unlike the senior pros.

Unbeleivable these kids today on the pitch they are our clubs future get a few honest pros alongside them I am convinced we will stay up every player men of the match for me proud of them all.

Sky Sports News had a short highlights, all three were clearly offside to be fair.

I'm not sure at all about the second one.

Aye saw that too. It was panto villain rather than any real malice from us lot.

I can't think of any other time I've been to the match and everyone to a man has been 100% behind the team. No screaming at wayward passes etc. Can see why they want that environment at young kids football!

I think there was a shove on the defender as well as a marginal offside which I reckon the ref blew for

Safe to say them top tiers won’t be open anytime soon

Looked loads of Empty seats in west where you men go and north

Dunno why but I always got the impression that 98% of people on here were east side and now for no good reason  i'm now thinking the bloke who gave a Divine Brown shout in WSL was Casino.
