January 17, 20206 yr Talk of a Director of football being appointed (firth on twitter put the name Tobias Phoenix out there) Could of course be complete bollocks .

Kenyon was rumoured to be trying to buy the club back in March https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8568469/man-utd-chelsea-kenyon-bolton-newcastle/

January 17, 20206 yr I don’t see a takeover happening - who wants to buy a L2 team under a transfer embargo. Dont see much in terms of investment either for the reasons above. Bit of a strange one. Maybe a connection with a football agent/linkup with another club to bring in players on loan for nowt like Watford did with the Italians
January 17, 20206 yr We're still under an embargo for quite sometime and our hands are tied, can't see what Kenyon could bring to the table at this moment in time.
January 17, 20206 yr You know what this means the return of custard. Mark my words the word takeover is like blood in the water he will be back analyzing the balance sheet in short order

If it's the case that we end up going through another takeover I think I'll take a couple of months off here for the sake of my mental health. In the words of that fat batloaf fucker. "You took the words right out of my mouth" cant take anymore of them accountant types on here.....

January 18, 20206 yr Here's what Iles had to say about Kenyon's role. He's here on a consultancy level at the moment and helping Football Ventures put together their longer-term plan for the club which - at first listen today - sounds pretty good.
