December 27th 1975. Division 2 (Championship) 42680 on Burnden. I was there. Anyone else?

Yes, stood on the Lever End with my dad.  I remember the back page headlines of the Sunday People the next day, 'Bumper xmas crowds, 50k on at Liverpool 42k on at Bolton.' Happy days!

True but also the kind of thing they'll look back on and think 'christ we looked a bunch of knobs' bit like me and the koosh ball hair

Me too behind the goals on  th'Embankment just 21 years since migrating from t'Lever End. Bigger steps and better view on th'Embankment in pre-Normid days.

Aye,Lever End with my school mates. Loved those years from 1972 - 1979, only bettered by the  Rioch +Todd era and the Euro days imo.

Lads with their mates supporting their local team. Days we have all done and still remember. Good on them 👍

Completely agree,  every one of them is worth more than the simpletons walking round every town including Bolton, wearing premier league shirts of clubs that they have fuck all to do with & that they will never go to watch.
