Thanks for clarifying. I believed she had previously signed a settlement agreement with Epstein and was paid money for this and then has replicated this with prince Andrew as I predicted. Sorry for misunderstanding what has actually happened here which apparently isn’t that at all?

Whilst it doesn't look good, and is another blot on his copy book, I'm not sure how he was expected to know about this chap, given the security services didn't know initially. 

Once they discovered his activities, the Prince stopped his association.

I think it does show the intrusive nature of the Chinese state though, and perhaps, as a nation, we need to be far more cautious.

Agreed. The Chinese guy would’ve been introduced to Andrew by someone in officialdom. Surely MI5 & MI6 would have warned him to stay away if there was anything known at the time.
